Recently purchased property in Trona. The short line operates on an infrequent schedule too difficult for me to catch one in this habitat! Only time I get it is on the rear opportunity it either be leaving or returning to Trona.
Very poignant and bittersweet to see the old SP and UP EMD power finishing out its years in the bleak desert landscape. Guessing the trona involved in the 1989 San Bernardino rail disaster was mined out here?
