In this video, you will see almost 50 railroad crossings with different trains going by. Videos in this compilation were filmed in TX, MA, and one from ME. 39:20 - Train didn't even bother to wait for the quad gates to finish lowering. It just sped on through.

That crossing has issues with northbound trains not activating the signals in time. Now that positive train control (yuck) is on the line, it is likely that the issue has been fixed.

Some cities have installed quiet zones. Once special medians or crossing gates are installed on the road, it can become a quiet zone. Many railfans (like me) hate them.
