Awesome scenes! As a Dutch railfan, who would like to vacation in the US, I would not only like to ride long distance trains, like the Amtrak Zephyr, but also this line. One thing I do not understand: Is this constant honking at railroad crossings mandatory? In my country, train drivers only honk in case of immediate danger, like some idiot trying to cross a closed railroad crossing.
