A largely-forgotten song from Brisbane band Railroad Gin (1968-1977), with Carol Lloyd on lead vocals. In 2017, Ms Lloyd passed away in the same suburb in which she was born 68 years prior, the inner-Brisbane suburb of Auchenflower.
Saw railroad gin at the hacienda on St Patrick’s day long time ago then discovered it was a gay/bi pub..met Carol and she was really into me and I loved her but not like that…and her wild red hair she reminds me of magenta out of rocky horror..
