Before You Play my friends love these games,,,, I get poked a lot over my attitude toward them. Fun to watch thoe. I think at 22:40 Monique could not have used the dice the way she drew it on the map. It’s orientation doesn’t allow it.
I did't follow along but I really enjoy this game. I really enjoy the meteor one right now. Sure it gets annoying when it destroys one of your routes but also gives an opportunity to score in other ways. Volcano is interesting too but Meteor is the one I enjoy. Really would be interested in the river and Lake ones. As of now it's out of stock and there was a recent KS that are adding even more colors and expansion die. So much variety. to get everything is pricey. For me it's worth it as I can just do a quick filler when the need arises. With all that variety It won't get old. Now the wait till December which is the expected release for the new editions.
I like this one! Can you do a Top or Best Of list of roll and writes? I know this type of gameplay has been gaining popularity and would love to see more recommend games
I got 46 as well! I had a 6 exit network and 2 2 exit networks, with an 11 tile highway and 7 tile railroad. 5 tiles in the city center and 5 dead ends. Thanks for the play along!
I just baught the Green Version. Mine has factories, housing, and university on the board. Also comes with the Forrest expansion. Decided to buy the Engineer, sky, and electricty expansions :D
got 63: 40 through exits, 15 through my highway, 9 through my rail roads, 3 for the center and minus three for the dead ends my highscore was 82, but that was with the addition of the expansion dices really love this game
I've got 55 too - managed to finish a tiny 2 exit network in addition to a large one but missed out on part of the city center. This is only my 2nd time playing, so I'm pretty happy with the result :) Thank you, it was fun!
I just got this game since I am quarantined once again. I had to buy solo player games and this came up as a popular one. Since the only elements of Multiplayer are comparing scores and blaming another person for a bad roll, this was easy to play on my own. I started a solo play scoresheet to kind of rank my plays. I like the blue version I have! don’t think I’ll try the red.. a bit chaotic for me.
I love this game! I played along (just a year later 😂) and was able to score 61. Had a single network connecting 8 exits (24), 17 was the length of the longest highway, 15, for the railroads, 8 city spaces and lost 7 points for dead ends.
56. . .I have the Red & Blue which each have a couple of expansions that provide even more variability and difficulty. Also, this allows you to play up to 12, although you could just print off some player boards if your group wanted to include more players. Thanks for the play through!
Thanks for the video! This definitely looks like a fun quarantine game that wouldn't be too hard to facilitate over Zoom. Also the longest highway and track remind me of the "Longest Road" in Settlers, which was always one of my favorite games. Any suggestions for print and play games that have a little more "Take That/bug your opponent" aspect to them?
Is 14:58 a legal move from Monique? The dice shows a curved station but the highway and rail sections are reversed on her board. Are you allowed to change the angle of the station or is this an error?
It's a legit move! you can mirror results according to the manual, page 5: "important: When drawing Routes, you can freely rotate and/or reverse the pattern you see on the die"
