Wow, what a throwback! This song propelled him to King in Asia and won him the grand prize at the Golden Disk awards in 2004. But I'll never forget the footage of young Rain in tears during his acceptance speech, because his mum passed away before she could see him receive the award. He was crying so hard he couldn't even perform the encore properly, and then continued weeping backstage, all the while clutching his award. It was so sad😓

Rain!!! He is so epic. From his music career to his acting - He KILLED it in Ninja Assassin. He had a skit series with Stephen Colbert that is INCREDIBLE. Time for some youtube deep dives lol Thank you for reacting to him.

Like that one commenter said he began interviewing and getting more global notoriety that after this when rainism came out I remember him performing it on the news or a late night show in American around 2008 before he starred in Ninja Assassin in 2009. Him and BoA I would consider some of the pioneers of the hallyu wave. I even put TVXQ in that category since a lot of people in the mid 2000’s found them as well through anime and other mediums. Rain is in a class of his own and very few people are in that tier with him.
