@@CharliesDiary I managed to beat a 10% stronger opponent in a champions league match in rainy weather just because I used similar tactic. Short passing, condition and possession boosts, being defensive at first half to save energy, then going full attacking at endgame.

​@@CharliesDiary My formation I use 4 defenders at the back, with left and right wing backs to cover both sides for passing to central areas. Then CDM CAM LM RM configuration on midfield. The CAM has also got role for Striker so I put red arrow on him to be flexible on the pitch, it allows him to cover 2 areas - both the CAM and ST position - when he has the ball. I use an unorthodox configuration of 1 ST on the left and a RAM as a second striker position placed almost into the same place where the striker would be, but still in the RAM area, opponents always think that I use 2 strikers, but I only use 1, and the second striker (RAM) is not even attacking from the right side, where the ST should be, but he is attacking from CAM side, from the middle. Currently my RAM is top scorer in the league btw, funny enough he has scored more goals than any striker. He also has Shadow striker ability and free kick specialist. I strongly believe that these 2 abilities counters the energy loss of the ball in the rainy weather. These abilities allows you to score from farther away from the penalty box. First half of the match I mainly used normal passing, because of my defensive formation did not really allow me to utilise short passing. Never the less, it was successful. I used at beginning of the match Condition boost to preserve the maximum energy. I used defensive mentality with counterattacks on, focus passing in the middle or mixed, low pressing, offside trap off, but not on flanks, normal tackling. First half ended up 0-0. Second half I switched to possession boost same formation but Attacking, passing was set to short passing. I also changed pressing to high, and focus passing through middle. I switched offside trap on. Won the match 2-0 against a 10% stronger champions league opponent. He even got a yellow card, I got fair play. If you preserve the energy at the beginning then your players are less tired out, they stay more disciplined, while your opponent's team players get more tired out, more frustrated and they make more fouls.

@@CharliesDiary It wasn't actually unfair. You trained your players and I trained mine. It's just a periodic test, like the exams you give at school once in about a month, to check where you sit at this point. And to be honest I prefer to test myself against the true teams of players that have great knowledge of the game and what it implicates.

@@CharliesDiary Well this time it happened - they're freaking out because 88/100 satisfies me when they got 97 back in their childhood at the same exam. They want me to be better than them - the actual fact that scares me is that they are not disappointed in the grade, but the fact that I accept the grade and don't freak out like them.

@@CharliesDiary I'm actually very much off the passing line, that's 50/100. There are hundreds of high schools in Romania that require immense grades like 95 minimum, and 88 is way too low. Basically high schools in Romania for kids that get 88 at that exam are actually very bad and don't usually lead to great results and achievements - therefore an 88 in a test 6 months prior to that exam is a reason to worry

I play that formation, and depending on the opponent, I play Hard Defending or Attacking

@@galaxyalex2232 I did too, but only against weaker opponents. I am currently 99.3, and if I play attacking against someone who is slightly lower than me, or around 100+, I just go Hard Defensive and put arrows red on my fullbacks. This method got me to beat an opponent who is better than me, and got me to the Cup Final. I am also in the Champions League Semi Final and leading the league by 10 points. Going defensive is a safe tactic, it ensures you can hit them on the counter and when they go all out attacking.
