Hi thankyou for doing what you do and I would really like to win the diamond I think they are very cool in how they are formed and I’m also a big fan of the channel please keep doing what your doing it’s fun to watch and learn
I’m 65 years old and not in the best health. I always wanted to go to the crater of diamond state park. I’m so glad I found your RU-vid channel. I am with you in spirit and hope you find lots of diamonds. Find a big one. God be with you
Judith, the park is handicapped accessible completely. If in some way, you could travel and experience, even the basics of feel, the vibe this park can give you, you can cross off one BIG portion of your bucket list! Just to experience it is very different.
They have kid screens that work well if you're a bit older. Right now there is lots of gravel near wash stations. Don't let age stop you from this great place.
My parents took our family to Hot Springs for vacation 30++ years ago. We stopped by CoD to try our hand a digging for diamonds. We all had a great time, I'd love to get back up there sometime. We also went to Dogpatch USA, and the IQ Zoo in Hot Springs. Great vacation, and great memories. I love the channel!!
TYVM for this video. A friend recently invited me for an adventure to Crater Mine to mine diamonds however, due to a possible hurricane threat in his area our trip may be canceled. He and I recently took a trip to N. California prospecting for gold. If your wondering if we found any gold, the answer is yes but, that gold was the education we received learning how to prospect for gold. We had some knowledge prospecting for gold but, we were shown yet another and then again another. Knowledge is GOLD/DIAMONDS whatever it is you mine or prospect having the knowledge is key. There is so many variables involved, equipment, tools, knowing the history of the ground/area, being able to read terrain, geographical signs/maps, knowing your minerals/rocks blah blah blah lol. That knowledge is endless and I could go on for days but, your video spoke volumes of knowledge. Ty for sharing some history of the area, the material you prefer and how to process that material. I had to laugh some with the hose situation as well. Prospecting for gold is filled with rules and regulations. I find the easiest way to appease all is to leave no footprints. As if you were never there. Most people will appreciate and respect you if you leave your area as you found it if not cleaner than you found it. Thanks again for sharing your video. I'm sure my visit to Crater mine will be much more successful having gained much needed knowledge and cheers to your continued success if finding diamonds and other precious minerals.
Congratulation's Ivin, I have been enjoying your videos from across the pound. I hope you and your loved ones stay safe in these crazy times. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us.
Me and the girlfriend have watched so many of your videos to learn how to hunt for diamonds. Huge thank you for providing us with all of this amazing information and the tutorial we needed to have a great first day hunting today!!
love your channel and I have been to the crater twice and had fun each time. LOL, the grand kids found diamonds all over the place and brought them home. they thought they were rich. of course we had them checked before we left just in case they were real. none were but they thought they hit the jackpot in there minds. I'm ready to go back now and will look for you in case you are there.

Haven't been to the mine since the late 70's. No wash sheds, no water, no grass. I hope everyone appreciates how hard you work and how hot it gets in the summer. Great videos. May come up next month.
Me and my sister have been once in October. We watched all of your videos. Going again soon. Thank you so much for getting us interested in a great hobby.
It would be so much fun to spend a day at the crater with you. That sure is a pretty 8 pt. diamond. Over 500 views and only 117 likes? Come on people...HIT THAT LIKE BUTTON!!!
Hi I'm Laura from Tacoma Washington. I've never traveled out of Washington to go rockhounding. The biggest thrill in finding agates, was when my grandfather would tell me there's an agate and it would be a piece of beach glass. I had a good teacher, till I was 10 year's old. To go find a diamond here in the USA. I did not know they existed here until I started watching the videos you share.
You’re the one that helped my friend! Wasn’t for you helping, I was starting to give up making more videos from all the headaches lately it’s brought me. Just like everyone’s channel we all want to grow and networking, helping each other is the best way!
Congratulations on all the subscribers and views Great channel Ivan love the information you share with all of us I look forward to watching every minute of every video you put out. Keep up al lb the hard work and never give up hopefully I'll see you one day at the crater until then stay safe.
Pure awesomeness! Crossing fingers that this Cajun Lady wins!! I learn much from your channel. Keep up the great work! I try and go every month to the mine. I see you there sometimes.
Went for the first time today and loved it, my Daughter had a blast we found some quartz crystal, we definitely will be coming back next weekend 😍.. congratulations on your find...
Hi there!! I like watching you working the soil/pay dirt. You've got a great personality and you have a great sense of humour. Good on you. I hope you hit the jackpot in a big way. Bye take care john
hi , old rockhound turned gem hunter thats me-, i like the adventure more than the paltry gems ive come up with so far love checking new methods thanx Jason
Thanks for posting the info about the new "rule" about hoses. We were there last weekend and a blue shirt spent the whole day driving the mine area on a side-by-side checking for hoses. We usually keep ours hooked up with a splitter but unhooked it after filling our wash containers. Keep the videos going!
videos are very informative for those just learning. i cant wait to try my luck at the diamond crater. i went back in september but they were only selling 1000 tickets and they sold out. dang ole corona. oh well, ended up yakaking down the caddo river. but the diamond crater is def on my bucket list. on another note 😂😂 barking spiders! thats what my dad always used to say.
These videos have inspired my summer trip next year. Im building equipment and saving money to spend at least a couple weeks in Arkansas to look for diamonds and Quartz. You're videos are the greatest guides i can find. Every time I find a diamond or a chunk of crystal I'll be saying " thank you Diamond Miner Ivins "
Mark A. Thomas, I watch your videos almost on daily basis and I am learning a lot from you. I have not done diamond mining or prospecting before but I hope to start soon. I may not afford all the necessary materials as you do but I hope to get the courage and endurance as you do. Thanks for introducing me to a new investment
Small observation... when you pull the bucket laiden wagon you run the risk of hurting your shoulders. Try a heavy duty leather weight lifting belt. Drill a hole in the center of the belt, add a round mount. Pass a rope through to tie the wagon to the loop and lean into the walk. Your young, but rock hounding can wreck a body. Love your wash set up.
It’s not so bad, they finally allowed wagons into the diamond mine about 15 years ago. Used to be no wheels allowed. James archer left with 15-20 buckets of cons a day. By hand Thanks for watching
Love Arkansas! a special place to be lived near border in MO in 1983 ...loved watching the sugar baby water melon wagon trucks go by , mmmmm.... now diamonds, wheww hoo ! I am a new subscriber about one month, was watching metal detecting videos and came across your channel its great, also a good idea for an adventure. Good Luck in your findings...
