Iv ridden along the tracks at night on my scooter had to take the mirrors off to get through the tunnels ,big sidings made of wood tresses disappear off into the bush on a few occasions and all the glow-worms in the tunnels at night look amazing, its disgusting water care or the government didn't save this treasure for future generations to enjoy, looked like there were tram lines going everywhere at one stage, the only other one is that small gauge bush track in the Coromandel its fantastic
I went here once about 2003. It was different slightly in this video though. I remember the tram all enclosed with glass to the sides and above. There were no 'stops' along the journey apart from a quick break at that camp area and looking at the large dam (last one) before returning back after time ran out.
