1. This a perennial plant which keeps coming years after year
2. Best time to sow: during spring
3. No soaking of bulb required
4. Full sunlight preferred, indirect bright light can also induce some blooming
5. Blooming period: April to August
6. Is fairly drought tolerant but likes consistent moistness
7. No heavy clay soil but can tolerate more garden or red soil in its potting mix
8. Deadhead to get more blooms
9. No fertilizing required...you can use compost once a month
10. Is toxic, keep your curious pets away from the plant
