We sharpen our blades after every field. between sharpening and flipping a set of blades will last all season, or at least they do for us. We put up around 1,500 5x6 rolls a year.

Wish you would of showed replacing the wheel teeth on rake. Those are a pain. Unless there's a trick I don't know about

These were straight forward. They just slide in and have a backer plate that holds 2 teeth. Each tooth has a bolt and nut holding them on.

No. Just standard blades. Just trying a different brand. Hopefully they hold up cause theyre much cheaper

@@ronaldvincent7722 Bale Tuff is a great brand of net wrap at a good price. If your in TX you can get it from Centex Direct Wholesale out of Waco & they deliver just about anywhere in the state free of charge.

try using a flapper wheel on a grinder for sharpening the blades, way less heat going into the blade and will keep the temper correct

All you had to do was pull the fuel bowl off the carb. It’s got junk in it from probably leaving fuel in it, instead turning the fuel cutoff and running it out of fuel.

Is a 4440 enough power for the rake baler combo and do like quad shift or power shift.?

Oh yes. Plenty. Quad for baling and powershift for mowing

It’s taking over my area big time this year. I’m a couple hours north of Golsch. Apparently Texas started planting it in the 20’s for erosion control

Always run small engines out of fuel for long periods of storage. Prevents the sticky gunk from building up gumming the machine up. Ive picked up many mower, weed eaters, power washers and so on due to this issue. Many times,its a good profit turn if you find the right machine.
