The movement progression of each player goes like this: “Man, I’m slow. Is there a sprint button?” “Wait a minute… I can backflip!?” Then they look up rain world movement and have a second of existentialism
And then, when you eventually get around to learning CTVs and eihops, you attain gamer status and move on to speedrunning or scorerunning... Or to something else entirely because by then you would have many hundreds of hours in the game
except game won't register your near perfect inputs and claim you failed. Badly optimized coding. PvP makes incredibly insufferable. Would ban with no trial if pvp is turned on
-Play Rain World -"Man no sprint button? The Movement here is so slow and janky." -1 hour in "Oh its actually fine" -"Did i just back flip...?" -1 google search. "What the fuck...?"
Imagine you are a lizard, you want to seek food for your babies and you find a weird rodent slimy creature, then that rodent proceeds to break laws of physics and do backflips only to stab you 3 times in one milisecond
1. walk in one direction 2. slide into opposite direction 3. you now have a stored backflip that can be used on top of the vertical poles and horizontal poles 4. backflip is conserved as you ponce and roll. you can even jump off of the poles if it's not the very top of a horizontal one
A better explanation is: This is the effect of turn storage. When you turn around you are given a special token that allows 2 things: Preform a backflip (an actual jump, not pressing jump) or a boost in acceleration (the boost when you turn around). The acceleration boost is used automatically by being in a standing position. If you crouch after turning, you have preformed turn storage! Now all you have to do is get on the pole. If you enter standing for a moment you will loose it. The way it is preformed in the video is by sliding onto the poll, although you can also preform a crouch jump to avoid standing as well. Jumping from the tip of the pole counts as a standard jump and will make you preform a backflip. Note, it matters what direction you turned for how the backflip behaves.
I have seen people do... unnatural things. starving themselves as spear master and wiggling REALLY fast while holding a sqiudcada to fly is the wildest so far
@@a1ex440 It has gotten along really far, someone beat survivor campaign with some issues, like the second player experiencing hunter's turbo cancer (?) even though he was not playing as hunter
Was there a mod used to have multiple players without the camera being on only one room? Or did you just not switch it? Because if it's the former then i can make a manhunt with my friends
