Thank you SO much for this video!!! My little girl’s 7th birthday party was today. She wanted a chocolate cake with rainbow frosting. I used this video step by step for the icing and THE local baker just commented HUGE compliments on my Facebook post with pictures of the cake. I couldn’t have done it without you! 😍😂 Thank you so much!!
amazing video!!! used this technique today for my daughter's birthday cake and it is so easy and turns out soooo fancy and elaborate looking!! wraping the icing in plastic wrap and changing each sausage-like bag once you run out of icing is a game changer!!! i think i will use that for every icing from now on!! Thank you thank you thank you!!!
Two suggestions. One. Try to use a thicker cake batter, either a different box cake or a sturdy homemade one. Two. When you were taking the caramelization off the edges of the cake. Just remove the top caramelization before layering and remove the side caramelization by carving it off with your template once the cake is stacked. (It lessens the steps 😋) I'm not a pro baker by any stretch but I've watched a looooot of cake videos and those are some tips I wanted to suggest. This cake is still stunning!! Good job!
100% going to use this cake for my birthday coming up in a few days- so excited! I always receive Rainbow Roses for my birthday and this would top the cake! (see what I did there?)
Congradulations I am giving you a award for the most tastiest cake I ever saw in my life I just wish I can go through the screen and just eat the 🎂🍰🎂!!!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
This cake looks so great, gonna try it out for sure! How much frosting did you end up using in total? I'm trying to figure out how much you would need for a cake this size.
This is amazing! I plan to bake a rainbow cake for my sons first birthday next month. What is the quantity of butter cream that you need for the layering + to make the rainbow frosting rosettes, please?
