@sunrise not realistic but tactical yes, theres a lot of thing you need to be careful of in R6, the walls, the windows, the roof, the ground, the barricades, a lot of thing, its not: GeT gUns AnD gO sHoT, you need to think of the best approach or best way to defend if you want to win, and the map are also tactical its not like cod there’s a lot of place where a guy can camp without putting himself in danger but you can counter him or come from the roof/floor to take him out, its Tactical its not call of duty, but its not realistic.
@walterwhite1006 It still paled compared to this and previous Rainbow Six entries. But compared to what it became it's like an OG Tom Clancy RS title lol; I remember at first, there wasn't even a single female 'operator' in the game and the 'abilties' were pretty grounded in reality, I had a LOT of fun during the early stages, and surprisingly the cosmetic customization was actually sort of badass for the most part and nowhere near the over the top nonsense that eventually became the norm.
@@RaytheonNublinski diamond players: someone is Northeast 15,18 clicks away. My tracker tells me he has a heartbeat of around 184 and has a wife with kids. I suspect he works minimum wage.
Sir Blu Ya but losing the hostage when she was right next to them, to put it into terms that CSGO players like you or myself would understand better, is like someone being lit for 99 hp and the last dude on the team (who has full health and armor) fails to kill them. Making the game a tie. That kind of rage
This trailer: Realistic af Reality: Whole team gets spawnpeaked by Doc and Rook, crouchspamming Ash main in the objective 0.005 seconds after the round started, Fuze kills the hostage
And now that Ready or Not is finally on Steam we can play the game that never was. And you know what? I really got same vibes from Ready or Not as the original Siege trailer.
@@RudoMike21 Yeah it feels more like R6 than R6 itself nowadays. Lots of games do, Ground Branch, Zero Hour, RoN. This game has turned into Overwatch type silly thing. Actually worse because at least Overwatch is faithful to it's style, and it has a consistent style. Siege has gritty maps (at least most of them) but ridiculous characters. One could argue that only gameplay matters, but the atmosphere and visuals matters too.
And after all of that where I sound like a guy who wants to take their games serious I'm also a guy who does stupid things. But a game marketing as "mature, racism, drugs, whatever" follow by something an anime show update I never watched.
@@Monkeman989 The whole Lord Chanka meme started in 2016, Ubisoft even embraced it in the Red Crow mid-season reinforcements. uh get ur shit to gether 12 year old "og gamer:
Macie Jay hey macie, you have connections with Ubisoft right? Tell them to stop making trailers with these horrible voice actors for all their games lol -also it's cool to see you here
today graphics looks like mobile game.. but in 2015 we was have a pure cinematic game n tactical experince... i miss old siege so much.. i cant play barely today
they didnt. this siege i unplayable. the only thing thats good are the visuals(which siege doesnt need because spotting enemies will be hard) and some features
i remember first watching this as a kid I was so hyped and amazed at how realistic it looked then i bought the actual game and realised it was nothing like this....
Rise Kujikawa I used to be a copper like two years because I didn’t have a good squad (still don’t) anyway I was A LOT better than that and I wasn’t a smurf
So watching this entering year 6, while I know why things have changed so much from this point and how far the game has come. I still really love how cinematic this is.
Expectation: Operators moving throughout the entire house, trying to complete the objective. Reality: *Everyone Dies in ONE Room and nobody even try’s to complete the objective*
+Rudy Gr Ubisoft downgrades all their shit. Look at watchdogs and assassins creed and most of their game trailers compared to the actual gameplay. But the funny part is in the beginning of this it said actual gameplay footage. Ha bullshit this game almost doesn't look anything like the trailer(gameplay)
the12thboss teammates that can actually communicate is called "playing with your friends" and if u dont have friends (to play with) you're stuck with some people you dont know and yeah i see your point
Its way cooler until you die to someone who was laying in a dark corner wearing a black outfit that you couldnt see because of the lighting... 10 rounds in a row. I agree this is very cool but its not a good environment for competitive play, there are way too many non-skill related elements that adds too much luck into the game.
WOW i can't believe the trailer for rainbow six siege 2 is out already, it's pretty cool they remastered house and made that building in the back a sniper spot
Bro the fact that this is a decade old is insane. I still remember watching this religiously back in 2014 hyped to play siege. The game has changed so much since then.
What platform? Will it be tactical and team based? Will it be a friendly competition? I have a group on PS4 and we do Military Simulations in lots of Tactical Shooter games. We play Siege the way a Special Operations Fire-team would conduct a D.A.M mission.
DankestStorm I know smh. It’s because of spawn killing I believe. They should’ve just made the helicopter repel spawning apart of the countdown until the breach
@@cathalbell8154 it’s not. I still play it I’m 2400 hrs in and solely play ranked. It’s a shite mode. I understand it’s the most balanced experience of the game but it’s as fun as pulling off toe nails. Hostage was class. Plus I hate the 3 round attacker 3 round defender. It should alternate every round. Defending is way way over powered. I never lose a match when I defend first. When I attack and we go 2-3 nil down then my team quit.
Actual game : 1. Go in 2. Shoot the enemy 3. Grab the hostage 4. Run outside and win the round Trailer: 1. Go in 2. Shoot the hostage 3. Grab the hostage 4. Not go outside but chasing the enemy 5. All the teammates died 6. Go back to the window and try to go outside
Real pre-alpha footage from a multiplayer match. *real person playing on a real console / pc* *throws popsicle stick on floor* "drone out." *shoots 11 shots at a person that's at point blank range* "shit! He got away..."
A little fun fact is that they originally planned to release the game without "hero" type operators, and was opting towards personalized operators with choices to pick which gadget and gun to use. And then they got influenced by the hype Overwatch 1 was getting and they swapped towards the current theme.
Rainbow six titles have always had “specialists” or “operators” who make up the rainbow division. That’s the whole premises, highly trained people from different parts of the world coming together to fight a single threat. Not to mention this game was in development and released before overwatch. Makes no sense.
Cairanmac1 Sadly the hostage (from the live gameplay footage on Twitch today) doesn't react to shit, all the bodies of the enemies, all the hostages animations, all scripted to make this trailer look good sadly :/ The hostage might aswell be a brick that you have to rescue from what I saw in the gameplay which is a damn shame.
