@AlphonseSwedgen It isn't the same. I've had so many people argue with me that it was "just as fast paced / arguably worse." The bugs were bad, yes, but the experience made it so unique! It was so fucking good, and I managed to pull almost EVERY one of my friends to play Siege at the time. It was marketed as gritty, quick, strategic, and you could play casually or competitively. Not to mention, we had amazing content creators from 2015-2019. They constantly make moot changes for the sake of eSports and to "freshen the experience." When the old lead developers left, the old game truly died with it.
I never played old theme park, but i bought siege just before the reworked theme park came out, and i kinda feel a bit stupid that i didnt play a lot of t-hunt then, cuz i really like this soundtrack, and is far better than the one we have now.
I will say this, I started phantom sight and this map really has my love. I remember getting my first ace on this map. The map looked cool because of its 1f haunted house theme. You can still play it if you download an old version of siege (or a cracked version from somewhere like steamunlocked.com)
I started late wind bastion and this map was pretty much r6 but if everyone was on ecstasy infinite spawn peek run outs and the bullshit train cart room it was fun playing on it as a bot but it was so trash compared to the new one
even though I hated this map a lot, I miss it, the rework plays better imo but still something about old maps that made them special and I don't know how to describe it, I liked how they made a holloween event with this before it got a rework, the event made it enjoyable
before the rework, the map had a different soul, old theme park was designed to be intense, haunted, edgy. the new one is much lighter, the green color inside map completely disappeared, and it looks like it has been abandoned like 2 days ago, while the old one looked like it was abandoned 30 years ago, lightning was broken, it was full of leaves inside and it looked much more destroyed than the new one
