The nerf is definitely too much. As they kept unveiling the changes, I was like, "YO THERE IS MORE!?!?" With all the changes, Solis should still be allowed to use during prep.
So....no mention about the XIM problem, a premium membership (Ubi doing an impression of Mr. Krabs again) and an Operation that has lesser stuff than Operation Health had. Also Recruit being more useless now. Cool
Don't forget to buy the battlepass, bundles and membership to support the devs (they literally just copy and pasted textures from a mobile game, changed some values to operators and called it a day).
@manenwan sure you may be able to now but it's by no mean massive the same can be accomplished with co ordination with team and you could have more than 1 gun on the breach with a bigger hole. You as a lone gun having to drone where the utility is alone hitting the emp and opening a small hole is still very couterable think about it.

Yeah, I’d understand limiting them to 1 pick if they had a shield option. Right now shields are oppressive, but they didn’t even give Striker a shield to use so why limit them to a 1 pick.

So in 90 days of development, we got: -Mobile models for recruit -Retextured walls for Stadium -Solis nerfed into oblivion -Fenrir nerfed -Objectively worse T-hunt -Reputation system delayed (again) -Cheaters still running rampant -A reused arcade mode And all of that can be yours for $9.99 a month!
Summary: no new content. Can no longer 5 man recruit. Made it impossible to balance the recruit. Still haven’t brought back T-hunt. For reference we used to get 8 operators and 4 maps a year.

They only "cared" because it became an esports phenomenon and grew an audience for several years. Now that they can't maintain it and seem to be stripping away as much of the nuances of this game as they can while leaving the core experience intact. its still a better shooter than 90% on the market, but they keep making it more and more like the mobile game. Which scares me.
I'm convinced at this point that Ubi corporate is just sucking up as much money as they can, giving the BARE minimum to the dev team, and tells them "make it work. Oh yeah, and put more micro-transactions into the game."
I agree. It appears they don’t truly care about this game any more. A quick mnk fix on console would be a permanent ban to those caught. Losing your account because you lack skill would be a huge deterrent.
Do you know what that means. That is literally what a change is. They changed him. No longer a multiple usable operator for the entire team, has limited weapons and is not a standard low anymore.

They basically got rid of recruit while people asked to make him viable again. Deadass, old old-recruit was way better and fun. But that isn't what Siege or Ubisoft is about anymore. It's about the money

@@bananagamer204 and each faction gave you the factions guns allowing you to play most gun types in the game. From pump action and semi auto shotguns, to assault rifles and I believe lmgs if I remember corretly. I hoped they would bring back the fact you could use any gun type (not all in game guns but at least one ar, on mg, one shotgun and a dmr for attack. One smg shotgun and dmr for defense) on recruits but they didn't. I'm so sad for that.
@@antonindufournaud6572 Recruits would also bring two basics gadgets (like the remaster?), the only downsize was that the guns came without any attachments.
Recruits had secondary gadgets and "throwables", now they have access to two different secondary gadgets which makes Recruit more versatile than before

Same! I was intrigued by Deimos and really excited about the recruit rework and now I decided I will probably never come back to siege. The devs are either too slow or have no idea what their player base actually likes when solving concurrent issues of the game.
@@Echolaliaxu My buddies and I quit playing because it became impossible to have fun. I thought maybe the recruits would be made better or just more fun, but as usual they suck the pro league's shaft and make any sort of fun impossible.

Funny how I stopped playing 5 years ago and the only thing that hasn't changed since is the fact this is a first person shooter and they're still pointlessly removing stuff that made it unique. I look at the game now and I just wonder why they didn't make a new hero shooter instea- Oh well I guess XDefiance is it? Lmao. @@Soliye. I slightly disagree, it does have a unique gameplay feel with the map alteration and prep phases being used for certain things. I get your point, however. I don't play shooters anymore, they all try too hard to be pro league or mobile games now

This season sucks. It’s so obvious that the Devs are talking slower due to the lack of content to present. Reduction in content was supposed to be a trade off for a reduction in cheaters, but we all know Siege is a cheater infested cesspool right now.
@@chillsy_pluto VAC in CS2 is still struggling with Overwatch implemented and AI learning in the background I doubt they are going to get to many extra bans out.
@@chillsy_pluto I will say I do think it is a good step if they are able to get help from valve and believe the extra layer of maybe having to link a steam account adds one more thing for cheaters to have to jump through if they make it a requirement ( I think they should require it)
@@SevenKilos I don't know everything about it but if they made linking your Ubi account to Steam which not everyone will want including cheaters it would be slightly more helpful in combating cheaters. More hoops to jump through the better
Took a break from siege and came back a few weeks ago, was so confused when i realized t hunt was completely gone. What was their reasoning for taking it out? if there was one
@@bucciarati7766 I believe it was because it took a large amount of storage space (i think about 10-15% of the game's data was T-Hunt) for something that players only use to warm up, so to save space for more content they took it out.

Want that General rating to get those 10 years old in. (They already have lines to show the trajectory of throwable lmao).

What about those who has no operators yet ? or the few they have is already taken ? they're just gonna spectate ? recruit means the acceptance of low skilled teammates while not giving up on them, or just simply connecting with randoms via fun, how is that bad? you rather have people leave and look for another match ?? Ubi you always mention listening to feedback. just check the feedback on 1pick recruits! (ps shields are also part of the recruit)

More time to get the Reputation system online... Less cheater bans, which means they are no longer detecting them, as the lobbies are filled with cheaters... and welcome to the new subscription system (i.e. pay more for less content, and we'll say we balanced the game for you)!
Lol remember Jackal,Lion,Dokk,Ying,Lesion, and more OP af operators because they were trying to balance around 2 ops a season and kept making either extremely oppressive forces or operators that couldn't stand their ground
we need fewer operators and more attention spent on bugs and balancing. This game is definitely one of the least beginner friendly games out right now with how many operators are in the game. Far too much too keep track of, how all operators interact with one another. A recruit rework is a cool idea, that will make it a bit easier for newbies to learn the game mechanics.

@@harmansbad5129 I've been playing the game for almost 8 years, and it's always the same thing with the same, shitty, results. The game has some great momentum(thanks to guys like Jynx) rebuilding the player base. They must act now and STOP adding new operators, they need to balance the 70+ they have now and put the game into a permanent Operation Health. Add an operator a year, whatever. It should not be front and center of every season, it gets boring and is why many old players cannot return to this game. Because it's not the same game. Thank you if you've read all this, I am a massive fan of the game and would love to see it thrive and expand into many more years to come. Spread the word!
Recruit is meant to be a fun casual thing that’s not meant to be taken seriously, and that’s fine. Why does Ubisoft have to take away things that are just meant for comfort fun? Tachanka LMG, old House, night maps, T-hunt, and now Recruit rush?
Like i always say they dont seem to understand who they have as a playerbase at all and rip the heart and soul out of everything they touch thats ubi for you
@@millennium677 agreed. That part can be mitigated by a good report/reputation system. My point was that doing recruit rush is fun and is a staple of this game’s “culture”. Even then, it’s casual only, so I don’t understand why Ubisoft keeps taking things away from people who just wanna goof off in casual. People shouldn’t have to play the game to the letter in a casual setting, 100% of the time. Ubisoft has been the fun police for a while now.

I do agree, although we should've seen this coming the instant they said "remaster" and not "remake". If you look at remastered games they usually just get a glow up and some QOL changes. Thats the same thing that happened here lol.

Ubisoft's idea of a "rework" is really starting to get ridiculous. So you're telling me you just gave the recruit access to freely edit his gadgets put him in ranked and called it a day? I bet all that work went towards the membership. Greedysoft starting to ruin the last product that wasnt corrupted by them.
God I hate when Ubisoft does this thing where they remove impacts from operators who deserve it. Like vigil and solis, like I get it, solis was a bit strong so you nerfed her ability but why remove her impacts it’s just irritating.
it completely changes the way you have to play her. vertical strats are out of the question. no more surprising unaware droners. This is really pathetic man, she was one of my favorite ops in high elo matches.
For clarification, here is what we got: - There are no new operators - There are no new maps or useful updates - Fenrier and Solis were killed - The first thing I see when I log in is a membership system that forces users to pay to win. We used to pay £25 a year to now have to pay £7 a month is absolutely insane. No one is going to enjoy this update, "VIP stuff" BS! i was actually waiting for the new season update to then receive this BS i rather play another game. Good job Ubisoft, you guys have ruined everything you have ever accomplished.

This update is so terrible that they're better off not coming through with it at all. Literally no passion at this point, only "How can we squeeze the most money out of our player base with the least amount of effort?". Truly the ubisoft we all know. same issue here. Cheaters are absolutely rampant this season in ranked. However, I've even seen one or two extremely blatant cheaters in standard as well. God knows why they need to cheat like there in there.
Totally didn't see A Monty mere hours ago floating through the map killing the entire enemy squad within 40 seconds. Not even the only case of that but it explains itself. Keep defending ubi all you want they're not gona touch your special place bud.
@@lukaspumo3498 I'm playing with emeralds and diamonds. We're getting shot from inside the site through shields. They're also able to plant the defuser from outside right after drone phase. There isn't really anything you can do at that point.
Finally I am free of Siege. Thanks for mentioning a subscription, I was so disgusted I instantly uninstalled and removed the game from my steam library. My shackles are broken!
Never was the case, been leaked to have double secondary gadgets for ages, the issue is we can’t recruit rush anymore or have shields back like everyone wanted, and they took away weapon variety
@@smqke exactlyyyyyyy, they just hate variety and think with closed minds, they remove and change things, more is better, t hunt didn’t need to go, coulda stayed and had improved ai, add on to the onboarding/improve.. don’t outright remove stuff unnecessarily

@@KeanuCheems Ehhh, in looks to each their own. People just preffer the og Recruit because it's more iconic than these versions from Mobile. Personally, I wanted them to keep the old design somehow, as a skin, even if they had to go through the extra effort of genderbending the OG design for Striker. But this... honestly, it's underwhelming. Recruit's og design screams far more personality than these two combined, which is hilarious.
For years i refused to agree with people who were saying that the game is dying, although i wasn't happy with every change ubisoft brought to the game. After watching this season reveal i have to change my mind. This season there is no new content, they even removed some, depending how you look on it. To me it feels they didn't put any serious work into it and now they are coming around the corner with premium membership. How can they cherish themselves with things like "For the versus AI playlist we're bringing 2 new maps, 2 new ai defenders and 4 new playable attackers" "We added the ENDLESS drill, this will allow players to train for 16 MINUTES...."
So... I gotta pay $600 a month for an apartment. $75 dollars a month to get internet for said apartment. Paid $500 dollars for a console to play games on with said internet. I need to pay $17 a month to play online on said console. I had to pay $60 to get seige and I'm not even counting all the yearly passes. Now y'all want to bill me monthly also... gaming used to be such an easy hobby. Just plug in the console, stick in the disc and nemory card and go.
