Yeah, it was amazing. And the time is a little nostalgic for me, this was my last year of school where I could spend the majority of my time playing video games. After this was three years of hard study and now university. Haven't been able to enjoy myself since like I did in the first half of 2018.
Worlds greatest detective: Answer me! Where were you on the 10th of May!? Oh playing the quiet game are you. (Smacks alibi) “You have been exposed” Wtf not again
No. He needs the General Electric GAU-8/A Avenger 30mm hydraulically driven seven-barrel Gatling-type cannon that is typically mounted to the United States Air Force's Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II. It is capable of firing 4,200 rounds per minute. Then he will truely become a God.
No. He should have a Gryazev-Shipunov GSh-6-30 30mm gaspowered gatling gun with 4000-6000 rounds per minute that can damage aircraft within a 200m radius from impact. Then he will truly be a God.
Oh man these gadgets are so unique. Its so nice to see this creativity employed, I'm not a super competitive player but the dlc operators just look more and more fun to play. I also like that they make the base operators more useful.
ASIANTHUNDER it can spam shoot, destroy gadgets and then hide, kill players, see and pin people hidden inside and behind smoke, probably will kill a bomb defuser if 2 are in the right place. BALANCED
Francine Sanchez I'm sorry let me just take out two 500 lb. Reinforcement out of my pocket and put them up. While I'm at it, let me put an armor plate on my chest to somehow protect my legs. Yup. Originally realistic.
Fuze black beard sledge buck and twitch vs echo bandit jager alibi and maestro Makes the ww2 Battle 1 American 1 British 1 Russian 1 Canadian And 1 French operater for the allies And 2 Germans 2 Italians and 1 Japanese for the axis Any one down for this strat
SLY THE NINJA and Russia left world war 1 after there where riots in Moscow about it plus Russia’s food was depleting My point is they where still in the war even if they left it early
Put a hologram in front of a window, break the window, they shoot the hologram. Now they're revealed and can be shot through other windows by your team.
So imagine your running up to begin repelling. A window to your side breaks you would probably flick to it to shoot the guy. What I'm saying is you put down a hologram then break the window in front of it as the enemies are running up so it looks like you're trying to peak them. Majority of the time someone is gonna shoot that hologram in that situation. Now with the enemy position reveled your team can shoot the enemy through different soft wall or barricaded window.
i really want to like this but ive been thinking about it really hard these past two days and i feel as though attacking is going to be hell. i mean everyone thinks that lion, dokkaebi, jackal, finka, and blitz made defending hell bc you would always be spotted or something... but now can you imagine how much youll be spotted by a team of valk, echo, maestro, caveira and alibi? and that's just one team strat... another could be maestro, alibi, echo, jager and lesion or smoke? the objective will be like impossible to go in if the defending team has good players lol. plus the acog on the lmg seems super easy to spawnkill since you can just spray at the spawn, the evil eye is nearly indestructible and alibi?... ela 2.0
Lion is pretty useless, only really practicality nowa-games is Defuser planted on Bomb and stops DEF rushing back in. Albeit Finka is still pretty good, one of the better operators albeit underpicked.
shyguy461 I'm not pro-league. Ergo, pro-league pickrate and strats don't really come into play with Ranked and Casual. I barely play any games where I see someone pick Lion, and even fewer to where that player uses his gadget or weapon and actually benefit that round. That is all I'm saying. (Or just pick Finka, push a button, give all ATK a no-recoil boost, midly faster reload, and 20 health. And do that 3 times.) Just saying
Wyvern Wolfe I prefer lion because while more experienced players know how to avoid it that doesn't mean you can't find the odd noob or catch somebody off guard
I'm actually impressed by this update, non OP operators with solid guns and possible meta changing abilities, as well as a really good new map, great changes to club house, new UI, new bulletproof camera secondary gadget, pick and bans for comp, and a lot of other things. Can't believe I'm saying this, but good fkn job Ubi.
Well the attacking operators were pretty strong with their gadgets, now the new defenders are strong. I like that the new gadgets encourage tactical play but it's also so open to mischief. You can fake spawnpeek with a hologram, which marks your targets. Then you can literally shoot them through a closed softwall or window. That's my biggest fear about the update.
I think a gadgets like fog lights that could blind attackers when tripped; or a machine that creates so much noise that footsteps and bullets are inaudible could be interesting.
These are personal thoughts/tips about the new operators: The most op thing I see about Maestro is the fact that everyone can use his camera to ping attackers, if everyone uses the camera it would draw attention to the camera and increase the chance for it to get blown up. The cannon on it really isn't that op because it can be destroyed when aiming it, only does 5 damage, and requires Maestro to be in cover while using it to avoid dying while using it. I can see it being used mostly used as a camera or a way to weaken operators vs actually using as a main weapon. As for Alibi, I think she is slightly op. In Rainbow, whenever most of us see an enemy, we automatically jump to get a kill on them before they can kill you. You can't shoot at the hologram without getting your location compromised, and chances of always having an IQ, Twitch, or Thatcher isn't always guaranteed. I see this as being fair, those operators are built for countering things like this. However, if you don't have any of those operators, you have to rely on being able to shoot the projector stand itself to get rid of the hologram to avoid a teammate mistaking the hologram as Alibi. My guess is that explosives would also work to destroy the holograms, but I don't know. If you can't actually see the stand, you have to either call it out to your team or hope they don't risk their position by shooting it. Alibi seems to be more chosen when the update would go live to me then Maestro. Her holograms definitely mix up the game. However, both these operators seem like they would be fun to use in game, and I can't wait to play as them/go up against them. Remember this is my opinion, and I thank you for reading.
I dont think they will other than the spawn peek trick. It's gonna be very obvious after awhile, especially on PC. Nobody is gonna stand out in the open not ADS-ing, but it would be easy to mind game someone with the spawn peek.
Gwyn's last knight you're wrong. A good chunk of people will stand next to their alibi so they blend in and can get the drop on someone. Hell, they even showed it in the video. Clearly people did it in playtesting.
Would we be able to stand inside of the hologram? Kind of like how you could deploy a moving hologram in Halo Reach and just walk with it to dupe someone.
Anybody else get reminded about the Hologram power from Halo Reach when they talk about Alibi? This season is going to awesome. Plus, the map looks way better than Tower or Theme Park.
I get the vibe that this map is inspired by Assassin’s Creed 2. It takes place in Italy, is a massive villa (Ezio’s base of operations), and if you look at the fountain at 0:06 you can kind of make out the Assassin’s emblem. It would make sense since ubisoft owns both the RS and Assassins Creed franchise.
So now we can have two Italian ops, two German ops, and one Japanese op as the axis defenders vs the allied attackers (plenty of Americans, Russians, brits and French ops to fill in)
Wow I still don’t get I why people take the nationality of the ops so seriously... I mean i am happy when the Turkish ops are coming, but i wouldn’t do drama if not
the best way to play alibi is to run deployable shield and place it in a door way here the attackers hav to pass and place a decoy behind the shield. that way they don't know if it real or fake. 1. the hav to pass through the decoy in order to destroy it 2. u can pretend to be the decoy after u tricked the attacker (i done it countless times and it works flawlessly
To avoid alibi and maestro ,u have to have dokkaebi lion glaz blitz ,because when lets say someone whos the clone and they get detected, lion turns on his wallhack system and they could catch whos running were and dokkaebi calls the phone for distraction and blitz is a stopping the roamers op
Oj Ferguson their really not only the bad people are gonna complain -_- the only nerfs I can see is the weapon tuning but both ops are pretty counterable
Honestly I think the lmg is the only thing that might need tuning other wise ali and mastro seem balanced and change the meta like mira. Good job Ubisoft, you didnt make another lion and blackbeard nerf meme. Ill be even main Ali now instead of lesion!
It doesn't matter if they are balanced, Ubisoft doesn't care about that. They only nerf an op if the shitty pro league complains or the community complains endlessly.
optical gaming A sniper that only marks targets with yellow, or a scanner that reveals heartbeats through walls, or a suit that makes you invisible to cameras or glases that detect colorful footsteps. Don't you just hate it when on the way to the store the public transport gets swated by a swat team that sports a century old russian turret? It all really adds up to extreme realism we all know and love.
SeNsE BlackOuT i can understand the gun, in a firefight nobody pays atention to the enemy gun so i get why they did it like that But the chothing it doesnt make sence why they choose to make it like that, it defeats the point of having a customisations on your character
Even without it looking exactly like a hologram, it will look like a player in the spot. It's enough to draw your eye for a moment during a spawn peek or when there are just a few seconds on the clock and you need to push the objective. Using her as a trick won't work as well for many reasons (People will rarely ever sit still when bullets are flying near them or the enemy is pushing from an opposite direct, etc etc,) but using her as a brief distraction could be crucial.
yeah they did say only 3 armours will get ACOG because at the time everyone was suggesting that Kapkan and Tachanka would get one because they were 3 armour as well
Wait sorry I haven't played rainbow since November and I am so lost. I was a hibana main and I had an ACOG on her is that going to be taken off because she isn't 3 armor?
Apperantly the devs strategy when it comes to creating an operator concept, make it as op as logically possible. Then start nerfing as they receive feedback. At least that’s how they get the community involved.
In game design, it is usually preferred to have to character be overtuned on release, than undertuned. If they are weak out of the box, they will never get any love, and no amount of buffs will change that. So devs usually prefer to nerf than buff
I'm not worried about the abilities, I'm worried about those weapons. Like a defender with an ACOG LMG and a 30 round mag shotgun? You already know those are gonna be op af when they drop
I know you won't take these ideas into consideration but I wanted to put them here anyways. If you have any questions then just comment on it Noise: He can use place down a box that creates noise to distract enemies Detect: Can place down a device that can show the enemy that triggered it Audio: Can place a box that will allow her to hear the enemy better when triggered X-ray: Can use a camera that can see through 1 wall (1 camera) Drill: He can use a camera that drills through the wall to see on the other side making no noise Height: Can reinforce ceilings or hatches Hack: Can hack 1 defenders drone and use it Off: Can turn off the lights in the building and has night vision Shield: Can place down 1 shield that surrounds 360 degrees Darkness: Can place down a device that when triggered will emit smoke (not poisonous) Shrapnel: Can throw special grenades that cause shrapnel Net: Can trap a hatch that when a enemy/teammate falls through it catches them making them stuck for 10 seconds Fall: Can weaken a floor so that when someone walks over it it falls and they fall with it Finale: When down on the ground can explode killing self and anyone in a certain radius Fake: Can fake death 3 times to try and fool enemies (counter won't go down) Woof: Can call in a dog companion that will attack enemies if ordered Ruin: Can set a trap that makes thermite charges docile Emp: Can throw a EMP grenade that can disrupts certain equipment Trap: Can detect traps set by enemies Flame: Can use a flamethrower as a primary Silent: Throws throwing knifes (head 1 shot kill) Piercing: Can shoot 1 clip of bullets that can go through the riot shield
Agent Arachnid yeah but there are plenty of places on all the maps where you can chuck the holograms behind a obstacle to hide the clues. So i think its pretty balanced as it is and doesnt need to match the skins the players weares.
You telling me there’s a bullet proof twitch with infinite ammo but regular twitch just has 5 taser with 2 second cool down... sign me and the rest of America in for evil eye
The decoys should be balloon people that pop. That is more fair. Otherwise... alibi can take over any spot. But if u do a quick spray to balloon people they all instantly go down.
I don't believe that alibi will be useful for too long in the season as its easy to pick out that alibi herself will look different than her gadgets. This may need a change in mid season but I love her so far.
Jaloobles agreed. She will be like Jackal. Very good operator at first but then will likely fade away. Kind of disappointed that they made the holograms one skin, with no attachments. Won't even want to use the season pass skin on her now.
Casey Phelps they'll probably revive her in the same way as jackel because it's pretty bold to say jackel is a bad operator when he's such a great roam clearer. That is his job after all
I feel like they should keep the default gun with zero attachments but at least let the holograms follow the same skin as to what the player is using. Like what's the point for even buying them then?
The 100th operator ability will be Change the game to 2-0 or 4-0, get 500Hp. Bring back yourself and other teammates back from the dead. And the gadget to become invisible (To the eye) not like vigil (Also 4 armor, 5 speed)
I'm so so happy they added the executioner to r6, I've been wanting it for the LONGEST time, and a month or 2 ago I was telling a friend it'd be cool if there was an op that could make fakes of himself and then like a week later alibi was leaked, I freaked out. I'm officially gonna be an alibi main now, 3speed, great gadget, my favorite pistol of all time (probably) and great primaries
Maestro seems pretty good, Alibi seems broken. You HAVE to use the default skin and SMG for her ability to even work, but if you use it right you can become the most overpowered operator in the game.
Damn the minds at Ubisoft always impress me with their ideas for new operators without being OP (Give or take the first few weeks of lion and blackbeard etc.)
