Long overdue since my last video was about a year and a half ago now, here is a run through of a Rainbow Six Vegas 2 terrorist hunt on Murdertown, skill setting realistic, enemy density high, and lone wolf set.
Murdertown is considered one of the more difficult levels to do solo, but as with all of them, you can work out a routine because of the way the terrorists tend to spawn. I started off yesterday by running through on casual to see roughly how many and where the terrorists spawn, coming up with this relatively defensive tactic, which I first thought (after recording) would be far too boring for a video, eventually deciding that it might actually help people who have trouble with the level.
Of course, I could have just tried ploughing through the level to come up with more interesting a video, but I found this to be a successful method, and it didn't take me many tries to complete it. I selected the MG36 in addition to my standard single-player assault rifle (the G3) because of the large clip size and relatively short reloading time compared to the other light machine guns. Smoke grenades can also be useful here in addition to frag grenades, though it really depends on what you're comfortable using, as with the weaponry. Another thing that I haven't used in this video, but can be quite helpful, is the tactical map, because it tracks terrorists in your field of view and will continue to track them for a short while even if they move out of your line of sight.
I was going to add some time-stamped pointers in this description, but after I had done so, RU-vid told me the description was too long, so I hope you get the idea from the video, and that it helps anyone who has had trouble trying to complete Murdertown solo. As always, feel free to comment with any questions or ideas.
