Thanks for a great series.... I was thinking you could use those tails / fluff piles for stuffing of little knitted goodies aka holiday ornaments or small stuffies
Great video, thank you, Chantelle! I use little yarn bits to attach a gift tag to my socks (I give most of my hand-knitted socks as gifts to my family and friends).
You do a really good job at the video-taping, the knitting while increasing, decreasing, changing colors, weaving in ends as you go, doing the Kitchener grafting, keeping the stitch markers where they should be, all the while helping us to do the same. WOW! Amazingly talented person (that's you, btw). That gray yarn is very nice. Please, tell me what it is. Thank you very much. Can't wait to start on mine. Though I noticed that your website store is out of stock in the colors, maybe I can use some colors that I, already, have. Thanks, from the U.S.A. 🙂🥢🧶💗
+Kim Scullen after some serious googling and viewings, I have realised that after many many many years of knitting, it seems I don't ssk in the standard way.... Out of all the things I was worried about on this video, that was not even on the radar ☺️
Fiberific! i slip as if to knit twice then put the left needle thru the two stitches i’ve just slipped from left to right, but in front of the right needle, then knit the stitches together (which effectively makes me knit thru the back). saves me slipping them back to the left needle then inserting the right needle to knit thru back.
