Over 40 years old and still epic! I haven't really listened much to Rainbow, but lately I've come to realize I've been missing out.
Disclaimer: in no way is this an attempt to recreate the original bass performance. There are already many videos playing it note for note, so I wanted something more fun. I also decided to shake things up a little and do a one-take with no extra camera angles. There are some hiccup and shitty fills as I started losing my good taste at the end, but it's still kinda cool, I think.
I'm using a bass my father made of some old parts. It has a EMG Geezer Butler pickup.

Yeah, I thought so too :) I haven't used this bass that much on this channel, but I'm gonna try to include it more since I really love the sound. And Rainbow has aged very well, I must say!

That's a lovely sound you have. I have been using the Behringer BDi21 which is a SansAmp clone but I've just taken the leap into the world of IR's and amp modelling and I have downloaded the Bod TSE plugin to use in Reaper. This is an absolutely superb take on a classic song, thanks for sharing this. Really enjoyed it.

this is one of my favorite song and when I buy a Bass I'll learn it your cover is very good friend, I know it must be hard to keep a Rithym for 8 straight minutes, i'm not very good with Rithyms
