I've been waiting on my core shot for four weeks. Hopefully mid next month I'll have it. Thank you for your vids bud. They helped a lot on getting started. My buddy and I are about to do our next injection session this evening and we are going to play around with some Dead On colors that came in yesterday. Look great. Got the mold and will be trying that. Experimented the other day cut a little of the end off to get a tip on the end so I don’t have to get a tip mold worked great. Keep pouring!!!!

How do you keep your injector from Quality Injectors and more from setting your plastic on the draw? I am having a heck of a time with mine as the nozzle is so thick it heat sinks the plastic horribly and I need to heat it up a lot before I can get it to work. Once it is hot it works like a champ but I can't shoot cool at all.

I wondered as I watched your Plastisol cooking segment; if you were to elevate the cup containing the Plastisol about an inch or so above the glass microwave oven turntable, would that allow the microwaves to access the lower sections of the measuring cups and thus melt the entire content of the cup more or less equally? It would involve finding a microwave oven safe piece of wood or glass or plastic; that you could safely and securely place the measuring cup on as it spins during your heating cycle. If you try it and it works out please let us know what you used.

Do a cure shot all in one color. Do a laminate shell with one side clear and other side let's say June bug is it dark as you can get it when you can't see through it then do a core shot of a light color June bug.. that way it fades into the dark side I bet it would look sick

HI, Chris. This video and pour are more or less "ancient" but there's valuable information here-particularly about the advantages of the craw/tube blend for big swimbaits, which you've reminded us about more recently. Is there any chance you'd be willing to share the source of those 8" open-pour silicone molds in which you made the rainbows? I haven't seen them anywhere, but an 8" ribbed swimbait is just what I need to make for the big striped bass I like to chase up here in the coastal waters of New England. So if you have to reheat the plastic after you have finished adding color and glitter flake. The glitter does not cause any problems with the microwave? Can it cause spark?
