I’m guessing both the owl house and Amphibia will have a similar ending with the fact that it will be easy for people and the creatures from Amphibia and the boiling isles will be able to travel back and forth

I think there is some sort of rivalry between Darius and Alador (I guess Darius fears that Alador could take his place). If Alador's abominations were lackluster, they wouldn't be employed by emperor's coven as much as we see in last episodes. I believe that Darius specialises in effective manipulation of raw abomination substance, which is strong, for sure, but requires his presence, while Alador makes good autonomous abominations, not so strong individually, but they make up for it by numbers and ability to act without witch present. And also consider that amity is a prodigy in abomination magic, i think that your average witch will have much more trouble dealing with abomiton.

Also don’t forget Amity is pretty powerful as Alador said.

I don't think it was because his abominations are lackluster but because they were new. Like the concept of using technology with magic to make it more efficient and effective vs magic in it's pure form. I think it's more of a traditionalist pov like how older people don't like change and technology. I think that's all that was.

I think darius and alador have some type of rivalry, as seen in the bonesburrow brawl episode, in the picture of younger Alador darius is booing him, so they’ve probably had a rivalry their entire lives

But that's if you're lucky enough to become the head, but it's mostly just them being highly skillful at one type of magic. Then there's the part where people don't want to be restricted to doing just one type of magic for the rest of their life. And if you don't choose one then you're sent to prison or are even killed for not being part of it. The coven might seem good on a surface level, but then you remember that it's just a ploy to restrict people of their magic allowing the emperor to completely controll them. Hell, technically ANYONE can do what the coven heads can do. Quite possibly multiple at once. But the covens forces them to only one. Imagine having both Darius and Eberwolf's powers and using them both at once, especially at their levels.

actually, there will be a season 3, but it will be verrrry short. It'll basically just be three long episodes, which isn't very much, considering the original plan was 20ish normal episodes.

@@sporks459 they are still cutting it short though, cutting literally anything can cause drastic changes, and in this case, hours worth of episodes were probably cut :(
