AHHHHHH SAMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE I CAN'T HELP BUT WATCH EVERY SINGLE SCENE WITH THEM IN IT AND HHHHHHHHHH I'M ACTUALLY IN LOVE WITH THEM, THEY'RE SO ADORABLE
Me and my girlfriend remind me a lot of how Eda and Raine were. She's kinda like Eda with her personality. She's sassy, a bit of a troublemaker and just plain awesome. And I'm the shy awkward enby with stage fright. WE ARE LITERALLY EDA AND RAINE!
i cannot describe the kind of joy raine brought to me. as a nonbinary person, i rarely see depictions of people like me in mainstream media, and they’re usually written to be young (teens to young adult) and some sort of creature or alien. which is cool, but after a while starts to feel gimmicky. raine feels.... so natural? both in their character and how the show treats them. their gender and pronouns are treated with normalcy and respect, they’re written just as human as any of the other witches. heck, they’re older, they’ve got awesome principles and a really neat personality. i don’t think i’ve ever seen an older nonbinary person portrayed, even in indie projects and comics i regularly consume. the idea of people like me living full lives makes me so happy. thank you, dana terrace.
gosh they're so well written. you can tell they didn't just throw raine in for diversity points because their character is fleshed out and their identity feels so natural
Raine is a lot like the way I would want to present day to day if I had the chance. I knew I was enby (genderfluid in my case) and already considering some medical transition. But seeing a character with such confidence, ability, and style, who is a Bard, who is in their 40s or 50s, really hit me hard. The fact that they have stage fright really hits home too. I think part of it is also that the style of Owl House makes me feel like my goals are more possible somehow.
good for you! it's great when a character can inspire you to be truer to yourself and allow you to be who you really are. (I'm genderfluid as well by the way...)
@@zetsu6888 I identify with non-labeled :D I don’t put myself as any sexuality lol (if you get offended, I can’t apologize for that- it’s who I am. If you want to learn more about “non-labelled” sexuality you can search it up on RU-vid! :>) But yeah, unless somebody was non-binary that would mean it’s heterosexual. Tbh Raine is my favorite character like there’s just so much character to him.
@@zetsu6888 Uh no, haha! It just means I love whoever I love without putting a label/name over it! (Like “straight” or “pan sexual.”) :D The meaning is Pomosexual or “no label” if you need to search it up! I just go by no labeled since that’s where I fit!
@@zetsu6888 The purpose is to not put someone in a box (if that makes sense?). Like when I was *thought* bisexual I would like both genders, then I liked everyone (I liked non-binary people, etc). I didn’t fit in with the term bisexual. Then I was like “maybe I’m pansexual” and while I did fit in with being Pansexual, I just didn’t like labeling. It honestly took me some time being confused to figure out what I am, and while the term “Pansexual” fits me- it doesn’t completely. I felt trapped if that makes sense? Like I felt like I was trying to fit into a label I didn’t quite fit. That’s when I realized I’m a Pomosexual. I identify as no sexuality and I just love whoever I love! Pomosexuality is when you do not identify yourself with “lesbian” “bisexual” “straight” or any other sexuality. You just love who you love without labeling it! I’m Pomosexual/non-labeled and that’s when I realized I can be myself! (not putting down anyone, I just didn’t want to label myself. If you identify with any sexuality that’s perfectly fine and everyone should be themselves!) I hope I cleared it up but in short : Pomosexuality/No label/Labeln’t : A sexuality that is not described through conventional terms
"uhhhhh I am honored to work with emperor Belos in preparation for the day of uniby I mean unily I mean ugh oh no this is going all wrong get me outta here!"
Raine: Eda, I think you may have PTSD Eda: 'course I have PTSD. Proficient Talent in Suckin' D! Raine: Have you ever considered that your use of humor is just a coping mechanism for all the traumer you've had to deal with over the years? Eda: Raine, I don't think you really get how funny that joke was
Huh. Just watched ep11, have not noticed that raine was just generally addressed by name or directly so luz using 'they' in this ep caught me kinda off guard. I guess i missed eda adressing them that way before... interesting.
I wanna cosplay as them for Halloween I cant decide since there’s another character who’s really easy to cosplay since all I need is a gray scarf I can’t decide Aizawa or Raine
*Uhhh I am honored to work with emperor Belos in preparation for the day of unity.. UH I mean UNILY I MEAN UH oh no this is going all wrong..GET ME OUT OF HERE*
Apparently, the 2nd season isn't airing on Disney XD. What the hell gives? I've been waiting to watch Season 2 sometime. Anyone know why? I don't wanna miss out.
there's a site called kim cartoon, and it has both seasons, but it takes a day or two to release new episodes there so beware of spoilers in youtube,, also dONT CLICK ON THE ADS FOR GODS SAKE, THEY HAVE VIRUS-
@@shgnome1613 It's just so unusual for me to say they to a single person that looks like a male for me and english isn't my native language... Sorry. But really Raine is/are such an enjoyable and great character, especially paired with Eda! :-)
