At this point even if IH was in a furry suit, as soon as he speaks, the gig is up. Hope he can run fast in that costume because somebody is gonna rip that mask off and find out what he looks like. As it turns out, he's been the Stig all along.
I've saw a heavyset wise guy Italian dude singing "Girls just want to have fun" out in the street and in broad daylight and I couldn't resist back up singing by yelling "they just wanna". The harmony and timing was fantastic. Thanks for being an eternal 80's girl, mama.
its mainly funny as fkng shit tbh i have no fkng idea how he does it with a straight face i diddle arnd with my throat, a lot, so i wanted to see if i could do it along with him. i got some of the timbres down but when i started getting close at all i fkng was just immediately violated by my own laughter, over n over again.
Something weird about these videos is that theyll will probably viewed in a couple of centuries as actual historic data, as by that time internet will actually be a footnote of human history
I know that there was a gas attack in 2014 at a furry convention near me (over in Rosemont IL). I visited the convention center for a different convention in 2018 and found out about the attack afterwards. It felt so surreal looking at the pictures of the Hyatt hotel that were taken and recognizing that exact area (the front entrance facing the parking garage)
I'm sad to see so many people telling horrible stories about furries. They (the furries being dipshits) bring down the whole community, and it's embarrassing to be grouped into the same type of person as them. The furries I've known irl really are just normal people. Popular people, super fun to be around, and you'd never know they were a furry if they didn't tell you. I wish that was what the whole community could be, and be known for.
I liked Andrew Calligan's approach to furries ( the fella from All Gas No Brakes / Channel 5 ), and it's good that both of you don't punch down, which was a big problem in "comedy" for a long time and a flow chart of rage at random folks is just no fun. also like these deets from the QAs
@@TWEEMASTER2000 I don't know or care who that is. And I just did tell you. Stop getting offended on people's behalf. They aren't victims. Stop treating them as such.
I was in Denver a couple weekends ago and saw a bunch of people in fursuits, turns out there was a big convention going on. It was absolutely surreal seeing mascots being accosted by homeless people
Well, glad to hear that you're open-minded enough to attend a convention. Though, I'd still recommend going to a reasonable one rather than some impending disaster.
im not going to lie, as a furry i can tell you that there's some, sadly part of the fandom that have something broke inside, more than the usual furry, those are the kind of people that give furries a bad name.
@@ashtonelder6781 as someone that aint a furry (however i do have a friend who is one) the people inside the community arent really the best judges of what's "normal". most of you are fine but normal is not a word I would choose for furries
I mean, name any fandom or other group of people with a shared interest that doesn’t have at least one totally batshit fringe subgroup who runs around making everyone else look bad. I’m a firearm enthusiast among other things; guess how that’s going for us…
It's either the man recording the conference at 5:30 of the original video, listen to what he says, or the man running back to the hotel laughing after they announced rainforest part 2.
@@DanSolow Then the answer’s just fuckin’ lost then. It doesn’t matter. The furries will kill each other before normal humans bother putting them down.
When you refer to Spokane as "living in the middle of nowhere" yet it's the 2nd largest city in my state XD Also, I as well call it Spokaine even though I've always known how it's said properly. Just sounds better.. also reminds me of my favorite hobby
You're daft as hell mate. Perhaps you shouldn't comment about things you know nothing about. Or is that too sensible of a thought for your microscopic brain to comprehend?
Still not sure how knowing what was in the letter proves who sent the letters and that they were the diapers on car person. I assumed the diapers on cars were known by con goers
Just be happy the first one is gone. If you really want a 'no rules' convention to happen again, get the gamers to do it! The craziness of the shipwreck that was RainFurrest doesn't have to be on us for the second time! Let a different group take the mainstream shame this time! XD
@@terapimahal Furries aren't inherently sexual. That's not what the fandom is about. Furaffinity is kind of...filled with that stuff, but that's not what we're all about. I honestly think you should check out the fandom!
I live in the city where Anthrocon is held. The city actually loves it when the furries come. Here is a feel good story: There was a pizza place that was going to shut its doors the following week. But during the anthrocon weekend, they made enough revenue to stay open. (And are still in business today). As an homage to the furries, they have a dog bowl and a collar displayed that has Thank You Anthrocon engraved on it.
my point was that it's only in the middle of nowhere relative to the united states. it's also almost the size of the us lower 48 states also, an island is mutually exclusive from continents by definition since it has to be subcontinental - otherwise you could call the entirety of eurasia an island just because they're surrounded by water
@@gairisiuil The commonwealth of australia is a country. The continents it’s on also has Papua, Papua New Guinea and West Papua. Also why are you so obsessed with America lmao
@@jb76489 point taken about the islands, but i mentioned the us twice because 1) spokane is there and 2) i live there (reasons for the mentions respectively)
Regarding Question #8 on the chlorine "bombing"... Friends I have in the fandom heard on the grapevine that it was a couple of teens trying to make shake-and-bake meth using a mason jar, and it exploded. I mean, it makes the most sense. They didn't want to get caught doing it in a hotel room they were sharing, and didn't want to get caught transporting the finished 'product', so they quickly tried making some in the stairwell. Very stupid thing to do, but makes a lot more sense than someone just randomly throwing around chlorine.
@@kurt5079 a really REALLY shitty version of well made meth. Usually done in 2 liter bottles and made of some under-the-kitchen-sink chemical mixtures instead of simple chemical elements. Poor man’s meth.
Furries are a wierd subject for me, because the only furry I actually know in real life is some guy down the hall at my dorms who doesn't bathe or wash his clothes... ever... and is known for watching MLP (and other) porn in public at the dining hall, but on the other hand, I keep finding creators/streamers/etc. that I'm a big fan of, and then later learning that they're furries (thatguytagg, Adum from YMS, Shammy/the whole PST podcast crew probably,) and then reminding myself that pretty much every "community" has its fair share of scum, or at least people with scummy qualities, but also cool guys who don't deserve to have their reputations stained by the few jackasses.
Every group has jackasses in it. I remember when I was watching the Toronto Hokey playoffs against Vancouver with my Dad late at night, at first, things were tilting in the direction of Toronto, the croud sounded like a pack of animals...(coincidence?) But by the end, Toronto had lost, and a massive swarm of Torontonians had set someones car ablaze and were chanting for a rematch. It got so bad and massive that the police had to come in and threaten use of tear gas if the crowd did not disperse. Trust me, after you see that kinda stuff go down at an early age, a bunch of artists cosplaying as human-animal hybrids becomes the least of your problems.
Sir Billius Yeah, but based on what he said in his Zootopia review, he's still cool in daily life as well as YT stuff (i.e. he didn't howl in the movie theater or whatever and disapproved of the people who did)
Cheekki Brikki Oh yeah there are defiantly normal furries out there and he doesn’t seem like the mentally unstable type of person to act like a batshit crazy furry.
@@bitchwormpuddin1499 that is true, like the apocalypse guy, I never heard of him, But like the fyre festival is also pretty famous tho, I'd just like to see tanacon because it's fun to shit on tana
FYI Spokane is a native American word. They named a lot of towns and cities off of Native American names (Snoqualmie, Wenatchee, Hoquiam, ect) It's often very hard to use the Latin alphabet to get the proper pronunciation.
I think stayed pretty neutral, you stuck to the facts and weren't injecting your personal opinions into things. Not much you can do when people are being that terrible...
>crush it like a japanese woman crushing a kitten's head first off it was chinese second off goddammit i know exactly which video you're talking about mr. historian man
I dont think Dashcon was the biggest Disaster (at the time of this video, or else it was definitely Fyre) I mean Dashcon was the bigger failure as Con but Rainfurrest definitely was the bigger Disaster. What I mean by that is, Dashcon failed as a con, because it was only a boring and annoying shitshow for the people that were there, but in Rainfurrest shit was going down and stuff got destroyed and all which is more of a disaster. (And yet even though its a Furry con that was pretty fucked, it was probably more fun than Dashcon)
The Chlorine Incident was Midwest Furfest at Hyatt Regency Ohare in Rosemont, IL, and was a shit night where people couldn't get back into the hotel for a few hours. A friend was one of the group that was hospitalized. People were awesome enough to turn their rooms at the surrounding hotels into hangout spots with snacks and water though.
16:31 You mention that you couldn't cover this story because it's essentially a stub - would it be possible to do a sort of 'anthology' type video on similar stories, or is there just not enough content?
Well, the last time a big RU-vidr interviewed a furry trying to show they're good guys, that went splendidly! Nobody's gonna wanna touch that for a looong time.
@@roxas4930 when was what? Shane Dawson interviewed Kero like, a year ago.. and, since deleted it for obvious reasons but there's reuploads out there. I'm not positive when he deleted it, though, if that's what you're wondering but I'd assume shortly after the leaks regarding that zoosadist group.
@@irishboy_pa While I know you were just joking, in case you were actually a bit curious, those are names from the Native Americans who were indigenous to the area.
Please consider making a series on con-drama/youtube drama/drama pertaining to the internet in general. I thoroughly enjoyed the Rainfurrest, Fyrefest and Dash Con vids, you're super informed and your voice is so pleasant to listen to~
but thats the thing, its about a neutral narration of events, if you want drama, theres enough bs all over the internet with true malicious intent behind their videos
