New to the game and I found a little robot that was mining. I was able to interact with it once I did my player started to pet it and after that it dissapeared. it was in the middle of nowhere, any idea what this could be?

I think it is another player's deviant - digby you have a chance to get one when you mine silver ore

The reason there is no drop sometimes is a glitch. It happens when you kill the Rainfall Reaper too fast. Happened to me a lot until I waited for the reaper to finish his "spawning in" animation. So a good 5 seconds from when he starts spawning.

as far as i'm aware they will not. as the new season should have new deviants and what not 😊 which is a bit sad cause a lot of people have spent countless hours trying to collect them all

a lot of people feel the same, but i just look at it like a new game every 6-8 weeks, new map, new missions new everything which i find awesome! i love the grind
