There are videos on RU-vid about it but essentially if you have a Apple product you are best to use a computer / desktop version of RU-vid to join as a member. Also thank you for braving the weather to bring us another wonderful garden stroll 😊

Erin really enjoyed the sound of the rain on your amazingly large umbrella. Ontario Canada and we also have not had rain in SO VERY long. Predicted for the next 3 days - will have to see if it actually does rain. Always enjoy the walkabouts - my list is getting longer of plants to research for my garden!!!

Thanks for the walk in the rain. Your garden looks so different than usual. 😊I agree with taking out plants that don't give you joy. It's your garden and you have to look at it everyday. I had trees taken down and I don't regret it one bit. I'm looking forward to your stroll with Michelle. I follow her too. I'll get a drink to sip and stroll with the both of you. ❤😊

I haven't had a chance to check my own yard but we, too, just ended a 29-day dry spell which really took a toll here in eastern MA. I breathed a sigh of relief on behalf of everything out there as we received a slow, consistent, deep watering over the past day or so. But that's dryness was nothing compared to the stunning damage caused by the jumping worms in your lawn, Erin. Shocking to see the grass just peel away.... Hope you can manage the situation overall or is it more a case of responding to critically damaged areas as they occur? This tour ended up being eye-opening and educational in its own way. Thanks, and enjoy your rejuvenated view.

Georgia has been so dry for the past few weeks. I had to water yesterday which is unusual for this late in September. There’s a tropical storm brewing in the Gulf of Mexico. I hope it doesn’t become a hurricane but a couple of all day rains would be amazing for us.

I live in Indiana zone 6, close to Cincinnati ,OH and Kentucky. Spring was amazing because there was no need to water due to consistent rain. My garden is slightly smaller than yours. We have had a complete drought for months and I have zero drip. My sprinkler is consistently going daily. It’s such a nightmare. My pond/lake is lower than I’ve ever seen it.

Oh, Erin, those jumping worms are horrible. I would have incinerated all of them, but maybe I'm more bloody-minded than you are. We in the lower Hudson Valley NY also had a pretty wet summer but now no rain for weeks. The trees in the mountains around us were already stressed by the gypsy moths earlier this year and now they are not getting any rain and starting to turn early.

On my less than a quarter acre property, there is no room for plants that don't aethestically fit in my space and/or I don't love (especially when there are so many other options out there), so I have no problem digging out plants/shrubs that are not working...and you shouldn't either!! Yesterday I dug out a phlox (the old variety that gets powdery mildew) with nothing in mind to fill in the empty spot, and today replaced it with a Panicle Hydrangea I found at a 50% off discount...karma!
@jla110661

We just got some decent rain too in Rhode Island. I'm in the end of the season hating everything mode and wanting to redo so many beds but then it rains and things look happy again. I did pull out all of my Joe pye weed this afternoon. What a back breaker. Too many issues between it getting way too big, Japanese beetles, and powdery mildew... gone. That huge opening made my day. It's prime full sun which is in short supply in my gardens so my brain went into high gear with possibilities. I have a tiny wine ninebark that I think was mislabeled because it's huge and needs to move after being in it's spot for 2 full years. I tried digging around it but it's too wet so I paused. I'm wondering if I should wait till late winter when it's dormant to move it or do it now. Any suggestions on that?
