32:38 I used to live here in 1988. This driveway to the right of the yellow arrows saved me when my breaks on the car totally failed on me going down on Stanley hill. 😅
@@MrMlbfan6i was young. I was fortunate it wasn’t an automatic and I was able to get it in first gear. If it happened just after the yellow arrows going down to Lookout Mountain I would have been screwed and maybe someone else too. 33:04 I think someone did just that
I'm from Jamaica in the Caribbean. I have never been on a plane. I don't even own a home. But i hope one day I will own my own home in a safe beautiful scenic neighbourhood filled with kind genuine humans
Is Jamaica not safe ? Isn't Jamaica the most beautiful country with scenic beaches ? We indians look up to Jamaica and aspire to reach your levels of per capita income 😊
This video is like a trip down memory lane, except for the rain ☔. As a former resident of Hollywood this was a great video for me. I miss Hollywood and the rest of the L. A. scenery 😊
I immediately recognized the thumbnail because I lived on Sierra Mar! Now I can finally show my friends here in Cincinnati my old house. Thank you so much for this relaxing (and nostalgic video) that takes me back to when I lived in the city of my heart.
I followed along to their driving on Google Maps. It's crazy how gigantic some of the mansions are and you can't even tell from the street level. Definitely some insane houses in those foothills. Too bad they're packed in like sardines.
Hehe I remember my friends whole street had 2+ feet of mud when a 35%gr hill melted after a 2 week long rain.. Even though these L.A Hills houses have significant reinforcement down to bedrock, I did wonder about that through the vid, that would be somethin.. for kids it was fun hehe, I member shoveling all day xb
Yeah, just last week the area had 4-5 days straight of constant rain. I believe that was the most rain Southern California has gotten in a single sitting since California became a state.
Those residential streets on the hills that barely have room to share the road with oncoming traffic, barely room to park, and crumbling roads are appalling. Nobody can even walk in the neighborhood safely. Imagine being on the fire rescue and paramedic team and you get a call and it takes you 40 minutes just to weave through the winding and tight roads up there. Good luck people
Your camera has really captured a beautiful And rare rainy day! If anyone asked me, I def wouldn’t live up in those hills because of how many houses are literally on the road ( bedroom windows etc) and the parking isn’t great… plus I couldn’t imagine just wanting to get home from work and having to wind up those narrow roads… I know people who live there love it, but it’s not for me. I’m a county gal all the way. BUT beautiful and peaceful ASMR! Take care everyone! Be happy healthy and well from Jan in 🇨🇦🙋🏼♀️
Expected more from The Hollywood Hills. Such a tight space and small driveways, especially for millions of dollars these houses cost Thanks for the vid
Looking a bit old & in need of repairs on may of these 60s hillside homes. Many of the people living in these homes inherited them from their parents & have been in the family a long time. Crazy to think many were bought for 30k.
Sou do Brasil,e mesmo nunca tendo ido a Los Angeles,eu amo essa cidade. Fico imaginando como deve ser viver em uma mansão dessas... O dia em que eu ficar rico, vou viver aí!!! Amém? :)
I worked in the H.H many times doing construction lovely place to live .i'm now back in scotland and never realized how we /they spoke until i watched SNL THE CALIFORNIANS
