Rainy Night in the Smallest Car Camper 

Going through a mental health slump at the moment and these videos are really helping with my anxiety, thanks mate

I've felt really rough the last few weeks due to fighting breast and spine cancer and my anxiety is through the roof but watching these camping videos makes me relaxed and they take my mind off of things,i love it when it rains or snow and Andy is comfy cosy with his fairly lights and the lovely burner so thank you for the fantastic videos.

I think i know now why i love this guy so much. He's so unassuming and not all conceited and into himself. I like that

Can we all agree that this is the realist camping video the second he was like "I couldnt get it back in the bag right" after he tried to put it back after checkin its size would fit the car? I dont trust people who can put tents and things back perfectly every time.

This is the first time I've seen this gentleman and I am so impressed! He has such a lovely attitude and seems happy regardless of the circumstances. I'll definitely be watching more of him!

My husband and I did a lot of camping over our 45 years together. One of my favorite things was going to sleep with the rain pattering on the roof of the camper🤗. Slept like a log😴

Have been watching some of the Japanese / Korean videos of people that have spent 30k on a purpose built tent, modular equipment - and then attached it to an £80k car - sitting miserably, silently, in a vehicle around the back of a hotel on some gravel while they pretend to rough it. This feels much more wholesome, and entertaining.

Watching with the daughter (6) and we love how even though you prefer the truck, you are still happy in a micro car and not slating it just because its not the trucker world 😊

I love you road testing kit that anyone can try, that doesn't break the bank. This video just proves you can still camp even in a small car if you cannot buy a full tent.

I bet that setup would be great if you owned a panda 4x4! I love how you chat to camera as if we're there with you, all the little observations and tribulations rather than pretending everyone is a camping god with the finest kit available!

I never thought of trying to just camp out of a SMALL vehicle with minimal addons. I like it.

Me and my son have spent a significant part of our time together under canvas and every time I hear a tent zip I get a warm, fuzzy feeling of nostalgia.

I have the larger version of this tent with a MPV. I love it. Easy ro set up and put down. I can get a double inflatable car matress and I have a plug in cool box that I can store on the front seat. Its a fab quick set up.

Again, a top video. I love the fact you do different setups each time. I had a double bed platform in the back of my 110 with storage underneath worked a treat. I've now got a Freelander and have removed the rear seats and built a storage box in the back with a folding flap which extends to the dashboard to the storage box with a decathlon mattress I sleep better than I do at home. You can't beat a bit of vehicle camping.

What a clever camping system. Just goes to show you do not need anything elaborate and expensive to have a comfortable camping experience. Super idea as not everyone has an SUV or truck.. One thing you can fit in small places and travel down trails. Love it! You always find the greatest camping equipment Andy. Snug as a bug in a rug. and dry., Better than sleeping on the damp ground when it is raining. Plus you can run a laptop and watch a movie at night using the car battery.. Don't recommend running the car heater incase of unhealthy fumes. Very slick to pack up and get on your way. Great video Andy. Can't wait to see what new products you are going to give a test run. Hi Andy. Glad you missed Storm Babet. We really took a battering in Scotland, especially on the East Coast. A month's worth of rain in hours & flood defences that always worked were overwhelmed. Although, from a selfish POV, I do love watching your camping episodes that are in the rain (from the comfort of my abode). 😅🤞

Just wanted say a big thankyou andy for your channel. I had to have some heavy duty cancer treatments at the end of 20021. When recuperating i just csme across 1 vid that led to another and found they were helping me big time especially the food side as did not want to eat. My wife would order me upstairs to watch one your vids & after watching you cook I'd actually eat something! Obviously its 2024 soon so im fine but with the help of your vids m8 honestly.

I have had this vehicle, i10 the next gen 2013 model and bought it first hand. Had truly LOVED her, awesome mileage, good air conditioning/heater, easy pickup, every year celebrated her birthday and in 2021 had to let her go. Never bought a car then since.

That worked really well. When your not on your own you can always leave the seats as normal and take a separate tent, using the awning as a cooking / relaxing area.

Refreshing to watch just an average, normal-type guy doing just normal, everyday run-of-the-mill-type camping! 😊

I dont camp, old and most body parts dont work. But i enjoy watching your trips. Such a nice gentleman. Be safe and thank you for taking us along on adventures we would not be able to do in real life.

We had a Hyundai Accent about 15yrs ago, and it had great gas mileage. This car was similar. Really cool to see a British version. If I knew there was a camping set for a hatchback, I would have told my hubs to not trade it in haha! Thanks Andy!

Enjoyed the comments... I was flashing back to road trips in my 1980 Honda Civic... I would sleep in the reclining front seats, I tend to like sleeping reclined... I was up in a high elevation campground just outside Crater Lake Park in early July on a 3,000 mile road trip for vacation. I didn't have a tent/tarp setup. Just inside the car. Food was cold cuts and so on. I did have a 4 pound hollow fill sleeping bag... was in the passenger seat, nice warm sleep and woke up in the morning to frost on the inside of the windshield... I was the only person in the campground. A deer wandered through near me. I was close to the park entrance... my car camping was an easy way to get around for taking 35mm pictures... I later upgraded to my 1969 F250 with a canopy and bunks I built in the back of it... vacations were in July, so I didn't bother with fires... those tended to be forbidden because of wildfire issues... so a little Coleman single burner stove if I wanted to heat something up. Those were good trips. I put half a million miles on the Honda.

Today you can have almost anything for camping. I think keeping off the ground is the way to go. Either the tiny car or roof top. Better than on the ground. Nice job Andy!

It's a lovely little camping vehicle. It opens up a world of weekend and holiday travel opportunities. Camping at festivals and outdoor events can be both pleasant and inexpensive way to stretch your leisure budget. Thanks for another great video.

I started to watch this channel after the Temu episode was suggested. I must say, i didn’t think this would be my thing, but the quality of these videos is above and beyond. Brilliantly filmed with insert shots like a true pro tv program. I ask myself, how much of your time goes into editing and setting up those shots? Amazing.

I've recently bought one of these car tents to b able to start camping again! Thank u so much for showing this as it's meant we can still go camping even thou I'm disabled now! Hopefully it'll encourage others. It's so easy. I highly recommend it. We thought we'd never b able to do again and it's really opened doors for us again to b able to get outside and camp.
