Jeroen, your absolutely correct. You just plan your day knowing what hours to expect the rain. We have a rainy season here in Florida and you adapt. We also have a very active hurricane season here too. But having lived in Florida for the past 55 years, you learn what to do and what not to do. I haven't watched many video on Thailand in the last few months because every time I do, I feel Thailand pulling on my heart. I miss Thailand, the people, the culture, the food, the malls, the incredible transportation systems...
Ooohhh that look like serious rain again. As you said it will last for not too long. Hope I will enjoy some of those showers too when I am there. Thanks for the video Jeroen!
I went soo deep with this video that i literally though i am the one who is walking and seeing all that rain there😍 i am saving up so i can visit this beautiful place till end of the year❤❤
It’s somehow so refreshing watching your video. We are suffering a heat wave in central Europe at the moment with temperatures up to 35°C. I’m sure most Bangkokians welcome the daily cool down and the soaking up.😜
hey, love your vlog, very informative, well I have a question, do you consider this a safe period to visit thailand with family especially bangkok and phuket areas?
I got so lucky when I was there from June 4-11, there wasn’t a single drop of rain, maybe on my first night there. Plus it wasn’t as humid either. Definitely want to come back and visit my homeland again ❤
Thank you for the realistic video that makes me long for this lovely city, nice quality of both video and audio that makes the experience even better, will start following your channel now. Greetings from Lasse in Sweden 🌧
How is the rain situation in August? I'll be in Bangkok in August. Hope to meet and greet with you when there's a chance. I'm a fan of your channel 😊 very informative especially for solo traveler like me.
For dramatic effect 😀 I'm waiting for the episode in which you will show the silver button for 100,000 subscriptions. I think it will be soon. Greetings from sunny Gdansk.
We were back in our hotel by the time it rained :) we got lucky to not have much during the day while we were out. We are staying near the Phloen Chit station on Witthayu rd. Any ideas where I can take a 12 yr old? It’s too hot for anything outside. We did bowling and a movie already, aquarium tomorrow.
Besides an umbrella, do you recommend rain shoe covers? I don't want to walk in soaking-wet sneakers. Would rubber rain shoe covers work in Thailand rain?
Mate I Think You Have One Video About Bangkok BRT System (I Might Be Wrong) Which Is Only About Their Station. I Think You Should Make Video About How to Use & Riding BRT Bus System.
I got caught in that downpour last night on my way to W District in Phra Khanong. W Market (an outside beer garden as you know) had big umbrellas up so it was possible to sit there. But I got thoroughly soaked getting there.
How long does it take to dry out your shoes? We can’t wear flip flops in that much rain, they get slippery like a banana peel. What do you recommend for footwear in a torrential downpour pour?
The first section of the Chong Nonsi canal park has really deteriorated over the past couple of years. Able to do a little segment on it? Quite disappointing.
