I watched not to learn painting rain or lighting. I watched you for your talent to learn how to be talented just liek you. I wanna paint anything I want. Thank you
Why do you use the sandpaper? I have not seen that before. I sincerely appreciate that you don't mind using craft paint. I have seen others look down on it and tell people not to use it because it isn't "proper artist paint". Being lower income, I rarely ever get a small tube of "proper artist paint" so I use Apple Barrel alot, and often feel so discouraged from learning to paint because of being told I needed "proper artist paint". So I am truly grateful you are not afraid to use the craft paint. It is very encouraging. Have you ever tried water mixable oils? Another awesome tutorial! Thank you! ♥
I used the sandpaper to sand the layers of gesso I applied on the wood. And I'm sorry you felt discouraged - I've created lots of work with craft paint and see nothing wrong with using it! :) Yes I've tried water mixable oils, they're great! But be careful if you're using it over acrylic paint. Some varnishes are water based and they will not work with the oil.
