Wow, that’s great to hear the Durango Hellcat is coming back for this year, after hearing it was a limited production in 2021. The Durango Hellcat really is one of the most craziest three row SUVs there is. You can fit up to 6 people (with captains chairs in 2nd row) and all enjoy the roller coaster ride it brings 😄
love the durango hellcat and i also love your incorporation of the driven diaries angle in your POV reviews. would love to see that again in future videos!
If those brakes feel like mush then something is wrong with them. Somebody changed to aftermarket pads or they need to be bleed because you should barely touch them and it nearly throw you through the windshield. Super sensitive and grippy.
Awesome review as always, my only issue with this 100k SUV is that at the end of the day it’s still a Dodge product. I say that in reference to cheaping out on a lot of materials, all the hard plastics/cheap buttons would definitely make me think twice about spending 6 figures on an SUV like this. I understand part of that price tag is the powertrain, but I’m personally big on interior materials/build quality. Love the vehicle nonetheless!
The Hellcat Durango looks way better in brighter colors. The silver/grey hides all the aggressive lines, but it could certainly use some cooler trim pieces to make it stand out b
One of these popped up in inventory in transit to a local dealer MSRP $108,690 jeez. I can't imagine why someone would pay that for a Durango, I don't care what they did to it.
Man i'll lose it if i had the keys to that Durango Hellcat!!!! wow performance is top tier! No other SUV is close!! Great POV Drive Review!! I appreciate that you demo each driving mode and as a bonus you tested the brake power which took me by surprise since they are Performance base, maybe they need to be warmed up first lol
I'm having to be a little more selective with which Night Drives I make (don't worry, I made one for the Durango Hellcat), because I'm helping my wife most nights with our newborn
@@MilesPerHr Yesirrr gotta make one for that💯I appreciate every single vid you make. Most of them just make me want to drive it myself. The. i realize how much money these new cars be costing😂
Yup. The Explorer ST has 3 rows and handles great. Plus easy to tune audi sq7 Hellcat durango Bmw x7 m50i That’s my short list. Will be buying something this year
Mushy brakes seems to be a common theme. It's my only complaint with mine. Compared to the SRT it replaced, it's far more at home cruising. The way the torque comes on early, the SRT just always wanted to accelerate. It was never content.
I thank you for reviewing this car... I am very happy, thank you very much..... I wish to activate the translation into Arabic... And the second camera in the corner it's a very good idea
The Durango SRT Hellcat is crazy enough, such that "go-fast" graphics are not necessary. A set of aftermarket custom wheels is all your example needs, in my opinion. Dodge is riding it's petrol fueled "Power Wave" all the way to the hybrid/EVT future. Yes kids, it's Last Call for this gasoline party - drink up while you can! Honestly Miles, electrification is tailor-made for SUV's, offering better space utilization and platform efficiencies. But for now, the Durango SRT Hellcat perfectly defines, "Blast from the Past".
My Durango Hellcat does 3.23 with rollout subtracted (3.43 with rollout) and hits 1.2G at launch. The numbers you’re seeing here likely include rollout unless the reviewer changed the default settings to exclude it as the device he is using doesn’t exclude it normally. The Durango takes a bit of practice to actually launch properly as well (including knowing the torque reserve system and how much boost it makes at various RPMs during launch). To achieve a 6psi launch you have to set the rpm to 2200rpm and manage to hold it in place by pressing the brake down with an insane amount of pressure or it will push through the brakes. The X3 M40i just isn’t competing with this from a dig unless you catch someone who doesn’t know how to launch it.
I know this is old but if you tinted the tail lights I 100% guarantee you it wouldn’t look civilian 😂 plus I’m not sure if your into it but your windows aren’t even tinted beyond what I would believe stock tint. that’s a plus too, you add a darker tint and she’ll look as great as she sounds but overall great video old or not just wanting to put that out there. don’t wanna come off tight or hateful she’s still a dope car bro 🤙🏼🤙🏼
The new camera angle you have is kinda eh 😐. I much prefer your pov driving but if you ever keep doing those angles than I wouldn’t mind I guess. I’d still like your reviews still.
So dodge went back on they’re word, I think all the company’s are lying saying there gonna stop making v8s, they will bring them back out in some “comeback edition” and upcharge you for it, If dodge stops selling hellcats and 392s they’ll lose too much money
Awesome! But about that new camera angle, guess it could be installed on the opposit side back seat! to make us feel we're actually there seating in the car...🙏
Looks really boring on the inside and out imho. Really outdated on the inside and would be really hard to justify paying 106k for this car when you could get something like the BMW X7 M60i for the same price. But if the supercharged V8 is what does it for you then go ahead and buy it I guess.
What's the difference between the trackhawk? Which one is better? I know they have the same engine and all but I'm curious about handling and the power:weight ratio.
As a DDHC owner I can help a little…. This makes just a couple more horsepower but the real difference is that it makes peak torque lower in the rpm range and peak power higher in the rpm range. As for weight the trackhawk is a bit lighter (5575lbs for the Durango vs 5356lbs citing official numbers) and has a better power to weight ratio. Towing the Durango can manage 8700lbs vs 7200lbs.. they are honestly pretty close and subjective looks would likely be the deciding factor.
i daily an 18’ Escalade and this dodge just doesn’t have the features i’m looking for. auto-folding seats, rear entertainment, panoramic sunroof, heads-up display, ADJUSTABLE REAR SEATS?? i mean c’mon Dodge.. do better. great video though!
So we can put it in the Durango which makes signif less sense than the 300 which was probably less blocks going into a production car than the Durangos that we all know we need at 100k msrp
Hopefully dodge keeps the hellcat going but we all no this maybe a last call! Also keep that key in ur pocket so u don't lock urself out of the Durango.
