I am the pit steward at Woodhull Raceway. Mr Pinkerous admitted he had made a mistake. With that being said how many of us dads will do anything to protect our children? I know I will and have; sometimes, I make mistakes in protecting them. It is over and they paid the price through the 30-day suspension. I say let's move forward and I am anxious to see Brock race again
I know it was stupid to fight and have Brock suspended. But from a father's standpoint you did what any father would do. We live by the dirt and we die by the dirt. It's the love and passion that we have for racing that brings the good and sometimes the bad. Keep digging and your gonna be someone
I agree 💯 % he was definitely justified in his actions & I honestly do not believe anyone that’s real with themselves and who they really are and not someone that try to be will not hold it against him either.
Why are they punishing Brock the driver for his dad's actions. Right, wrong our indifferent they could have suspended the dad and let the driver keep racing. I don't know what all happen so I may be talking out of my ass.
If you got it you got it don't let the haters do anything but give you motivation! If you shouldn't be out there your equipment wouldn't be holding up to the checkered flag keep on keeping on!
You don’t know me from Adam. But what you did wasn’t wrong someone would done that to my kid I would done same thing. I hope he smokes em rest of the year.
Your an awesome kid, I can't wait to see more of you. As far as your dad is concerned, never back down Sir. I raced some years back and you have carry yourself to where others won't mess with you. If that makes sense. I'll be watching, Take care, God bless.
Hell yeah son! You do you and to hell with the haters. Use it as fuel! New subscriber and fan, HUGE fan of Dad too! I’d done the same for my son. Blessings
My father also struggled with anger management. A lot of it is the stuff you keeping on the inside. Something got him to walk out on the track. He was triggered, and he made a impulsive decision. I picked my Dad up from jail a couple times.😢 because of similar incidents. It sucks because they don’t get to see the person you live with and spend time with every day. Maybe his dad needs to take a step back for a year or so to let it cool down. Possibly BamBam could look for another Ride….
You go hard Bam Bam Understand your Dads frustration although it wasn’t right , I’d have done same thing probably a lot worse given what the Muppet in no 4 was trying to pull an adult at that , shows you his true colours all yellow , keep the metal to the pedal throw down those skills with your chequered flag
Keep doing what you Love kiddo! Don't apologize you did absolutely nothing wrong. Protect your son. He deliberately tried wrecking your son. He was BULLYING your son on the track. I guess people think it's ok for Adults to BULLY a KID..... I guess you can let it go so it keeps happening again......
Hey Brock huge fan of yours bud I’m a huge dirt track fan keep your head up bud keep pushing and working your butt off and hopefully I can see you down here on a texas dirt track much love little bro
I can appreciate this story. Our journeys are different but a little similar, we started our son racing when he was 15 because he wasn't responding to traditional Autism therapy. We got all sorts of hate over it but it's worked out pretty good. We haven't won a feature yet but Tucker did win a points championship. Y'all keep it up 🤙
You’re a wheelman bud, and as for ya dad. As a father of 2 I would’ve done the same exact thing for my son. That feller had no right trying to clip you. It’s dirty/sissy racers like that, that give the sport of racing a bad name. If he couldn’t handle getting dusted by a 13 year old that drives like a grown man, he should’ve loaded up his rig and went to the house. Plain and simple.
I want you and the hole family, by family I mean all involved in your racing team sponsors and the men and woman in your business to know. They are not letting you race for 30 days in that series so it hurts your son the most. People racers in that series don't want him only because of his age to win the championship our even be in the top 5 at session's end. It's sad!!!! They could have handled it many different ways then they did. But don't let it get you down! You all have learned a very valuable but very harsh lesson. Never talk bad about it only the good that was learned and God will have the last say!!! I feel there shouldn't be a age limit on what anyone can or can't race. As long as they have been racing clean and respectfully as well have the talent and wear with all the make right choices on and off the track! I just seen and heard for the first time about your son's racing and this video and Avent. I pray many blessing for all your family. Right look at what they did. As one who is shooting a Bonnaroo. You have to pull it back before it launches forward!!! So watch out when you all get back on track because y'all are going to be better as a team and driver will be to!! God be with you all. Put Him above all and see what will be of it! Amen
Everything else is coming together perfectly. Now cut the carbohydrates. Physical condition comes into play more as the cars get faster (g-force) and the races get longer.
GO GET ‘EM BAM BAM!!! Don’t be hard on your Pop,he was trying to protect you. As a dad of a 12 and 10 year old son, I would’ve been the same way. You’ve got what it takes and you have a new fanatic bro!🏁
Your father should not have to apologize that man did you dirty on the track Your father had your back as a man should...you gotta good father man who would die for you don't let all these Sally's make it seem as if what he did was wrong
Thats bullshit it was well deserved sometimes fighting is needed you play with me on the track and try to do me like he was doing Brock it wont be pretty
I am a kid my self and I used to race my self and one fight because a grown man can’t keep his temper down to 13 year old kid that is faster than him and thinks because he is older that he runs it next just smoke him and rude it in because you got the people to help you do that and your a good wheel man and all you going to do is get better and your father is just being a father protecting his son from a grown man that can’t keep his cool if anything your dad should get a pat on the back or ice cold beer he can choose
Hey man let me tell u i grew up with my dad and my uncle racing there they werere very good and very well known brothers and i cant tell u how many fight my dad and my uncle were in at woodhall raceway and we never went looking for the fights they came to us to fight bc they couldn't beat us on the track so there plan was to get in fights with us so we would get saspended and the got to keep racing thats the only waythe could beat us
If you cant seperate being a dad and let him be a driver then u have no buisness letting your kid on the track. When the helemet is on he is another driver, i get it if he turned him into the wall or something like that but you absolutely have to keep it on the track. If he isnt old enough to just be another racer in your eyes then he is to young to be on the race track. You put him in the situation to have man problems.
Only reason there's folks hating on these kids driving is because their kids can't do it turn them kids loose and let them go there's way worse things that they can be doing sent it young man just send it
I dont have any skin in the game so any comment i have on that is irrelevant the only thing i will say is that education and family should always come first
First off mad respect Mr. Pinkerous!! Love what you and your family are doing for Brock. I think he's a phenomenal young man. With a helluva lot of talent and maturity. Your doing a great job raising him, pay no mind to the haters!! I haven't followed Brock long, but I love watching his progress and feel he's got the stuff. Keep working hard ya'll and I'll keep pulling for ya!! Nothing but love from one Ole Dirt Track Junkie 🤘💗💯🏁
What a great race team and father, I would have done the same thing, we all learn from our actions, and then move on to be a better person, good luck to the whole team....letsss.....goooooo.....
Hey man, keep on keeping on..Heck they Dale a bunch of names until he kick their tails on the track...A fan after seeing this youngin..Age is a number, stay humble, you got a great family....
Keep it up young brother ..the only thing about that fight is if I was there I would have had your dad's back amen. But I'm a fan now and praying for you brother
Hey Brock! When is your next race? And do you have a clothing line yet or anything maybe a T-shirt or a hat I can buy to support you!! I live in Pennsylvania
Go get em Brock don't u ever be ashamed for chasing your dream and being damn good at catching it. And Dad don't ever be ashamed for being able to provide opportunities for your children. If you can give that boy the best of the best to help him succeed you do that because he's taking it and flying to the moon. And defending your children is in our DNA as parents sometimes we step out of line but I agree with the pit Stuart you took your suspension you knew you screwed up. It's time to move on. There's a reason the windshield is so big and the rearview mirror is so small. Keep up the hard work kids these days need inspirations like your son.
You're gonna go far, great family great support great attitude. Best of luck to you. When are you guys going to get some more of those #5 hats back in stock?
Hey BAM BAM just fucus on being you . I am a dirt fan grew up around it . Left it for a few years . But back and all in hope to see you run circles around then boys . 🤘👍🏁😁
Love you Dad absolute legend very similar to Brian Deegan you will cop criticism but in the end you will be praised father of the year only making the sport better
"You've got a lot of stuff kid"-Doc Hudson. Personally, I have no doubt that you're going to go places. And as a first generation racer myself, I completely understand how important it is to have a group of people support you through your journey. My family was unfortunately not well versed or involved in motorsports, but my friends at the track have been there for me since I put my butt in the seat. Best wishes to you and your family for the years to come. And if you happen to come by Missouri, or if I happen to come by New York, I'd be more than happy to have a sit and chat around the race track.
Ok braddah im a fan now. I also was your age in started racing street stock but our track shut down in hawaii. But im almost 40 and still love dirt track. Your vid just came across my feed. So my hawaiian braddah good luck in the future and u got a new fan and subscriber from hawaii nei Aloha and jah bless 🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾
Hell ya dad I would have done the same damn thing 👏. Brock kid I can't wait to see were what all you accomplish. Keep kicking ass. My son looks up to you he is racing quarter midgets now an has the same drive as you. I'll go broke to make his dreams come true!!! Keep it up kid!!!
Dad, that was really stupid! Don't ever let them punish your son for your BS and failure to control your emotions. I don't have kids so i don't know but as an adult i know right from wrong. What i will say is, let your son do the talking on the track like he has been doing. Sucks that a grown man pulls that shit on any driver regardless of age. Anywho, I must admit that boy that thought he was gonna throw you around found out for sure lol. I know that was like trying to push a brick wall over. Lmao Brock you certainly posses some impressive skills my friend. Best Wishes in your future endeavors whatever they may be. I'd love to see you in a 410 sprint, NASCAR is boring and you have to depend on others to win.
I salute you, sir you’re a father first you got some asshole dooring your kid I’d lose it to dirt track races have been fighting for years give them hell Brock you got this
You go brother everyone is jealous you got such an amazing dad. I love racing to but I dont even have a dad, wished he could see me race right now. I work hard everyday to fund my racing life! you stay focused and you will make it buddy! Cheers from The Netherlands
Keep diggin. No matter what you do on the track or off, you have a whole team behind you wanting you to succeed. Dont let the negatives bring you down. You have talent, that many would love to have. You said it best about trying to keep your nose clean. Keep doing what you are doing and the success will come with it. As for your dad's actions, I probably would have done the same in the heat of the moment. Obviously he feels remorse for those actions. The sanctioning bodies need to get ahold of enforcing actions when it comes to drivers doing things that everyone feels is uncalled for or retaliation. It should be stopped before it gets to that level on the track. As a team, you are all doing great things, can't wait to see how you all grow over the coming years.
I understand you have to accept responsibility for hurting the team but I’m sorry, idc if that’s my 8yr old son or my 68yr old dad that some sad loser is bullying on track like that… he’s lucky u had restraint, should’ve made him feel his bad decision to pick on someone like that for years to come. U got a fan out of it, keep on diggin guys.
Derek and I just watched the video and we think its awesome what you're doing buddy. Keep up the hard work and stay focused. Don't let anyone tell you that you can't. We re all proud of you!!
Great video love what your doing young man keep your head up and stay on the dirt buddy dirt track racing is where it's at hope to cya some day at a dirt track race
Keep up the great work on and off the track. There will always be a few road bumps along the way, but just learn and grow from them. Awesome to see you having the opportunity and taking it with both hands 😎🏁
Young man I raced on dirt tracks and drag tracks and I started when I was young don't listen to your haters you do what makes you happy I'm proud of you
Taking care of your offspring is primal. It's an instinct. Its survival in anthropology. It's not a behavior that you choose. It's just there. If we didn't take care of our offspring our species wouldn't survive. It's in all of us. Believe it or don't Paul probably doesn't even know this... this had nothing to do with racing. He like the rest of us is biologically programmed to behave the way he did.
You should never have to apologize for protecting/standing up for your kid. The other driver is a bully and thought he could push Brock around. Being a Dad myself I would have done the same thing.
