Jane Sigaloff is a writer from London. Her father Peter lived with Lewy body dementia before his death in 2019. During Lewy body dementia awareness week Jane wrote in the Telegraph about her experience, and we published a longer version of her essay on our website.
The response to Jane's essay was incredible, and there's no doubt it helped to raise awareness of the disease during our Dotty Days week.
At this online event in September 2021 Jane kicked off the discussion with her story and the response to her essay, and we discussed the role we can all play in raising awareness of Lewy body dementia.
