Tears come to my eyes these are the type of ppl we need to highlight in Jamaica instead of the fools who bleach out sit on corners rubbing out weed in they hand middle and want harrass ppl ..good look youth stay bless
@@jamaicanwilson3474 i didn't say that it's terrible but there's alot of crime and if the youth them put their mind to do good the country would be alot better
THIS LOVELY YOUNG MAN IS SO BLESSED TO HAVE PARENTS TO TEACH HIM THE TRADE HE IS A GOOD SON TO LISTEN AND LEARN AND TO BE HAPPY HE KNOWS EVERY LEAF EVERY TREE THAT IS GOOD FEED FOR HIS HERD! WE WISH ALL THE YOUTH WITHOUT JOBS IN JAMAICA COULD FIND AN INTEREST IN GOATS! AND NOT GUNS LIKE THIS WONDERFUL YOUNG MAN! IT IS A BLESSING TO WATCH!
One thing i admire is the amount of land space and the nice vegetation he's got for his animals, i love this and i hope the criminals will leave him alone to get on with his farming.
This is awesome! He is very knowledgeable and dedicated to his job. Wishing we had more young people who desire to do something positive like this young man. Instead, they decided to involved themselves with negativity and hurt conscious people who are working hard to provide for their love ones! May the Lord continue to protect him and keep his animals healthy..!
More videos please.. I can definitely see you guys rising to the top fast but we need more content like this one. The tour guide is very knowledgeable and interesting to watch. Video quality is clean. And animals looks healthy and happy! More content ASAP!!
Am here in the Caribbean doing my thing. As still doing back home too. Many jamaican people think foreign life simple for everyone, me hardly getting sleep, just so I can have my own. 🙋🏿♂️
This was my first house chore in the village in Gambia. I have a lot of respect for this young farmer. He brings back a lot of memory. Farming in general made me focus on education to get out of the village. Education was the tool and today as I approach 60, I am leaning on farming /growing plants/Vegetables as a hobby . Good Raw Travel. I look forward to more cool videos.
This video was a blessing to view, a pleasant distraction from the ever present thoughts of the vile happenings in this world. With young dedicated, and knowledgeable guardians of our planet like this youth, my faith for the future of our region is restored. May the One God bless him and his family, and by extension all the wonderful people of Jamaica. Love always from Barbados.
Tell me now why is there not a channel on local tv in Jamaica that plays this type of material all day? SMH, mi bex. This is eic in every sense of the word.
Soulflotv u couldn't have said it better but thank God we have these social media platforms where we can get opportunity to watch and learn much more about our farmers and farming in Jamaica,I could watch this all day long it uplift my spirit 🙏🙏🇯🇲🇯🇲🤗🤗🤗
This reminds me of my childhood in Jamaica 🇯🇲. I used to have over 60 goat 🐐 at one point. Being a shepherd has helped me a great deal in managing people. All the best to you Sir 👏🏿👏🏿🤝🤝👊🏿
This man is living the life I want to live....grow up doing this from i was a baby bring back soo much memories...the cane field and everything I shall return 🇨🇦🇯🇲
Really wonderful video, as an Americanized Jamaican I've always wanted to experience the country life my mom always talks about! Thanks for sharing I truly hope to see more best of wishes!
Sky High The Arawaks not to be mistaken with us East Indians were wiped out by the Europeans & they were the original inhabitants of Xaymaca. We East Indians were taken to the sugar parishes of Jamaica after the abolition of slavery in the 1800’s by the British from the Indian states of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar & Madras. Old Harbour Bay is the first place where the first of us were brought on the ship called The Maidstone. After working on the sugarcane plantations many of us went on to do agricultural work. We make up 2% of Jamaica & now reside in places like Clarendon, ST Mary, Portland etc.
@@mrladnek5858 Yeah I know all the histoties.☑ I said they're are Jamaican because that's what the Jamaicans call them. Meaning they're Jamaican/Indian. My daughters dads Jamaican/Indian from Seaview Gardens. So in other words they're not from India/Asia. They're Jamaican citizens. Therefore born/raised in Jamaica and are tough etc like the full Jamaicans 👍🌛
Please stay safe from human predators. Good to see someone who's willing to put in hard work in order to make a livelihood. God bless you and yours in your toil!
Rohan Simpson you're making the right call Brother America has nothing to offer you it was never designed to build you or help you in any way you will stay in the same position you're in for decades and nothing will change, however when you go back to Jamaica make sure you bring something to improve the country build up your people love your people stay blessed
Mi Breda maximum respect, mi come from the Gambia west Africa and mi grow up the same raising up all types of farm animals from mi parents, I was specialised with sheep but had all goats, cows, pigs and chickens. Now am in Europe Austria, watching your video makes me regret why I left home come suffer here in Babylon. Due respect bro.
Take all your earnings, buy land or lease land from the government in your country, and do what you love best. As an immigrant in a foreign country, most of us are one pay check away from being homeless. You will have weath to pass on to your children, who can study and take the farm to the next level as a business.
@@desmondburnett9286 My condition is another case in Europe. Am planning to go back home, my culture don't sell land we inherite it, I have enough space at home in the Gambia. Thanks for the advice
@@kenramdas3482 boy you born in Jamaica and you can't climb I am 69 now but in my girl days only coconut tree I could climb no disrespect when I said boy but as you know you would be a boy for me 😄
My father raised a lot of goats when I was a little girl. I was the shepherd girl, take them to the pasture in the morning, and bring them back home at night. We had a lot each of them had a name, my favorite one was Pet, she was very tame that's why we called her Pet. That guy remind me of myself. Lots of love and blessings to you my friend.
WHAT?? DID WE SAY !! DID WE😂 LAUGH WHEN DAMION CRAWFORD!! SAY GIVE YOUNG PEOPLE COUPLE GOATS! KEEP THEM OUT OF TROUBLE TAKE PRIDE IN THEM SELF THIS YOUNG MAN KNOWS THE LAND! THIS IS TRUE JAMAICA! WONDERFUL WOW!! LOVE TO HEAR HIM SAY THE FEMALE CANT EAT CERTAIN THINGS "HARDEN HER MILK" HE LOVES HIS HERD!! WHAT A VERY NICE YOUNG MAN! JAMAICANS MUST GO BACK TO WORKING THEIR BEAUTIFUL LAND! AND GOATS! THIS IS SO NICE WATCH
Up up up indian...I'm a indian from vere n I used to raised goat as well n didn't nothing about feeds..I just let them eat water grass ....thanks for the knowledge my yute
looking at this, remind me of my young days with my Dad there in Jamaica, he was so bless with Goats, background Williams and Indian from his Dad side, we also got some families, there in Clarendon, Williams, but don,t really know them!! and they from Vare
Very heart felt and warming, good yute dem doing good tings with clean head on shoulders...in JA we need more healthy minds working for the betterment of the country #godbless
Awesome video bro,at one point I forget u were being interviewed. I was hoping to hear the interviewer asked u more questions but u did an amazing job sensitising us the viewers about this type of forming
Ok. He is rearing goats. That is good. However, let him take it to the end product where the money is made; goat cheese. I advice him to reach out to goat farmers in Europe. Where he can go there and study for one year to make goat cheese. See if the government will back you with seed money for the equipment and building on your farm to manufacture goat cheese. It is time to add value to our products. For example, saw mills should get into furniture and cabinets making as a value added products. Nuff said from a trini
Well-intentioned comment but doesn’t sound sensible. There isn’t big market for goat cheese in Jamaica and exporting it would require know-how and connections plus those export markets likely have their own domestic production and will be subsidized if it’s Europe or USA. JA gov’t or any govt doesn’t just give out $ when ppl ask much less to someone who has no experts in area. Think twice before you think you know more than small business ppl.
jacan4eva Anyone of your friends who are thinking about doing a business I hope they never tell it to you.. you full a bruk vibes .. Anyway it’s a sensible idea , I think the word you were looking for is infeasible.. The road to starting a business is never easy but where there’s a will there’s a way
jacan4eva you say you know small business but one of the main underlying reason most small business fail is a too compact market goat cheese is a possibility yes bcuz there is no one locally producing it... Jamaica highest earning industry is tourism which is a large market for goat meat and GOAT CHEESE.... the main issue facing Jamaica is that lack of value added product bcuz we sell dark sugar and import refine sugar sell bananas And import bananas chips same with aluminum minerals and import aluminum sheet so there’s a lot of possibility for this young man maybe not immediately in goat cheese but goat meat goat milk etc
Nice to see a video like this coming out of Jamaica. Even we in Africa have a lot to learn from the handsome young man in the video, in terms of farming and goat keeping. Better than thousands of 'sit around and do nothing youths' who only project Jamaica as a herb - smoking country. Keep it up Man!
So we produce great music and athletes and you are telling me that Jamaica is only projected as a "herb smoking country"??Bs..Most of Jamaicans don't even smoke wead or we are all rastas.,thats a stupid stereotype that North American hippies pushed, but the world knows da truth. That's just
The guy is so informative and knowledgeable about what he is doing. Keep on doing an awesome job. The cow itch. One time students cow itched the classrooms of our High school. Smh.
Mad respect to this young brother up up. Yo no lie this let me shed a tear because I remember I use to do exactly what he’s going all whilst going school.I use to raise Cow’s, Goat’s and Donkey’s etc... love and respect to see rather than turning to criminal activities like most other young brothers he choose this path to raise animals to provide for his family 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Dear MR SG I am a south African of indian descent our ancestors came to africa as the same time yours came to Jamaica to work on the sugar plantation s...I proud that we are hard workers...our youth walk in the same footsteps...
Delightful video make me think about think about those shepherds, from the biblical times. Beautiful landscape I miss having a life like this.Blessings Crusie.
Real man dis eenuh. Hard working and dedicated to his job. By the sweat of your brow you shall eat bread. Not depending on a soul to feed him. A good yute.
