@@appleturnover that's really great, I would love to join your mailing list. I was born and raised in Kent and currently in Cambridgeshire. My Grandparents used to take me on lots of holidays and trips to Sussex as a child! X
they are wethered - fixed - so they don’t become full bucks and stay a bit like their sisters. teddy bears really. they’re in high demand for clearing land of blackberry and broom, as well as animal companions. i’m sure they’d be good food but i think they’re much better as partners on the land.
@@appleturnover Thank you for your reply. I have been considering getting goats for a long time but the one factor that was stopping me was the males. I didn't want to have to resource to having them slaughtered once the kids become adults. Could you do a video on the goats explaining your choice of breed and cover their needs and so on, so a bit more in depth video than this one please? Many thanks.
i’ve been thinking about doing that! you might try advertising locally to get a waitlist for people who want kid goats and see what’s possible. often a wether is a great companion to a doe, so folks will get one of each.
