Just a short video of the pheasant I got in the other day. Thought some of you might like to see them. ~-~~-~~~-~~-~ Check out my latest video: "How To View Invisible Air Currents With Lasers" • How To See Invisible A... ~-~~-~~~-~~-~
Those are really fun to watch as they grow, make sure you keep them far away from your house or their noise will drive you crazy! :) Also, you should train them to lay raccoon traps when they grow larger, lest history repeat itself.
Nice videos mate, but I would be wary of haveing wood shavings or similar as the birds can pick these up which can cause crop/gizzard impaction. The alternative is to have a bare floor, bigger shavings or a small gravel base, once again, nice little videos, good luck...Nick.
@Nighthawkinlight yeh people do that in the uk mostly farmers...they release them and then shot them for fun and for food on the weekend....they live wild anyway but they shoot so many they need to breed them aswell or they would die out
Hopefully nothing gets in the cage and eats them again! That would be aweful. The Geese around the pond near my house have eggs that are hatching right now and they look strikingly like pheasant chicklings. Good luck!
From your experience, have you found a way to determine age from your chicks? Im getting a small amount of birds in march, but I want more roosters for dog training/hunting purposes any info helps thnx.
