Hey Richard..great as usual. What are your thoughts on heart worm prevention pills? I've never given any of my dogs that stuff.

Thank you. I've never used pills but I used ivermectin monthly as a heartworm preventative. I think pills might be worth it if you live in an area known for heartworms.

Another good video my friend I do the weight pulling myself with the dogs but I never did it for like weight pulling compatisons I'd just get them really into a ball then there was a gulf course next to me so I'd take a chain in attach it to some weights on a long chain let the dog run then just clip the chain on the harness in there was a big long grassy hill I just keep throwing the ball down it in getting him to run back up to me in then keep doing that then start doing it up the hill in if he wants it he will run is fast as he can up that hill over in over but obviously if he's a good dog he will keep running in Hurt his self so you got to know how much that dog can take or know like his body shivering in eyes going glossy it's time to stop but each to there own 😂😂 most I ever had was 6 stone in I'd run him a few miles walk him a few miles then walk him another mile or so in let them cool down but I didn't do it to see how much weight he could pull it was for endurance some times I'd leave it till he was really tired then I'd drop the weight over the edge of this like drop off then walk away till he pulls it up in he will be crying because he's tired in being a bitch 😂but I find if you help him or pick it up for him he thinks you will do that all the time so you just got to leave them in if they got the heart he will dig deep in pull that sucker up then I'd praise them pet them tell them there good dogs I dont pet my dogs a lot so when I do they know there doing something right not like I'm bad to them I don't mean that just but giving them a clap telling them there good dogs in stuff I'd normally only do when they did what they needed to do but each to there own and what works for one might not work for another

Those are great comments and I appreciate your input. I think your methods work because you're getting good results. I kind of did the same with my dogs when I swam them. I let them swim til they got real tired then pulled them out and the next time they swam longer because they felt I was going to pull them out so they didn't panic.

@richardgarciaschoolboy7746 I remember seeing thst In one of your videos I'll need to give it a try and when there pup's I would work them a lot slower start off with a water bottle let them pull it get used to it so it don't spook them because some don't like it they think somethings chasing them or what ever so it's different when you first start them but if he's older and used to it and the way you do things thsts when I'd up it to the 6 stone or whatever but I find it makes them faster to I've always liked working a dog even if he's just a pet or whatever but I was ment to say I seen a video with you in it and the guy was showing your dogs can't remember the page but think it was your father's dog Alex he looks so much like my dog just no white on your one my ones got a little white and seen big red and things gorgeous dogs they really are I'd have loved a pup of that line from what I've heard they where good dogs you had some really nice dogs good looking strong healthy really good dogs something about the ones I seem just stand out there was only a few I seen but absolutely stunning dogs you can see the care you put into them salute 🫡

@Sean-rd5fs If it had white on its face that could have been Charlie. The sky's the limit as far how to train or work dogs. Part of the process is finding what the likes and also starting them when they're young.

@richardgarciaschoolboy7746 no it's my dog has the white on its face I'm saying my dog looks like that dog Alex only different is my dogs got a bit white on him and a bit taller 😄 I 💯 agree I only work the dogs forcwild boar because it's starting to get a bit if a problem over here it's like the deer there millions of them but getting to the point them wild boar will just pull up on you and take the dog especially where I go it's out in the wildness of Scotland got to watch up this way I swear I seen a black panther or jaguar don't know if it was someone's pet but you always hear story's of them over hear its weird think it's black magic hahahaha

@Sean-rd5fs Gotcha. Alex was a very good dog and if your dog is built like him it's got good structure.
