Something they don’t tell you when you become a parent, is that you need a lot of resilience. And that you also need to learn how to teach your toddlers resilience too.
Hugh Van Cylenburg began his career as a primary school teacher, and is now changing lives when it comes to teaching kids and adults about resilience, through The Resilience Project, a program that promotes mental health and resilience in schools and communities. Hugh is also one of the hosts of the hit podcast The Imperfects, a dad of three and a very wise guy. Which is why we asked him on Wiggle Talk, because today we really want to get into how we can help make our toddlers more resilient, and how we as parents can learn to be more resilient when we’re dealing with it all.
