In this episode I focus on building the roof portion of the cabin outdoor kitchen. It was a great day weather-wise and everything fell right in place as I worked away....of course, there was time made for cooking!! Come along for the day with my dog Willow and I....I think you'll enjoy!

Yes sir. That’s a bit of realism for sure lol!! Who doesn’t drop their hammer (and then got to crawl down off the roof, down the ladder, back ups again lol). All is a days work I spose! 👍

I had to laugh when the hammer fell off. I thought to myself how many times that happened to me on a project. haha Kitchen is looking awesome, what will be the first meal cooked up? tfs!

Ha! Yes, I left that clip in there because it’s a very real thing lol. I must have went up and down that ladder dozens of times that day, and the hammer was just one more trip lol. As for the first meal, I never even gave it a thought! Hmmmmm.....👍

Head over and check out (My self reliance) with Shawn James. He has built a log outdoor kitchen. Maybe get some good ideas. Also interesting to watch. Great work by the way.

Thanks Mike. I’ve watched Shawn many many times. He has the most ideal homestead that I could ever imagine to have. What a great man. So resourceful. Part of my inspiration definitely comes from him. Another from two of my first cousins who cook extensively outside in their pizza ovens and outdoor kitchens. Thanks for tuning in sir.
