Prasar Bharati Archives presents life journey of 'the show-man', and legendary Indian film actor, producer and director of Hindi films Raj Kapoor.
He was the winner of seven Filmfare Awards and a nominee for the Grand Prize of the 1953 Cannes Film Festival. He was honoured with the Padma Bhushan in 1971 for his contributions to the arts and Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1987.

Main Raj Kapoor ka fan tha, hun aur jab tak zindagi hay rahun ga. Un ka tasawwur barha haseen aur dilruba raha hay. Jissay woh acreen par barhi daleri say dikhatay bhi thay. 🥲❤️ He was the great showman of Indian cinema. Such unique characters “all in one” are born once in centuries. If anyone really wants to know him then the following films 🎥 such as “ Barsaat, Awara, Shree420, Jis Desh mein ganga behti hay, Sangam, Mera naam joker, Bobby, Prem rog, Satyam shivam sundaram and Raam teri ganga maili will help reveal the kind of personality he was. When u see his movies, his work as a whole, u realize his work was always relevant as per time, he made movies like Awara, Prem rog, Ram Teri Ganga maali , movies with strong social message. His movie mera naam joker is most unique semi auto biographical movie , i dont think anyone in the world made such a movie with such an effect its best musical of all time , he made commercial movies like Bobby when he needed to, he never gave a flop . Mera naam joker also became successfull later due to digital rights and royalty rights. His movies has such deep meaning touches ur heart . He was great filmmaker of all time. As he said 'Rahengae yahi apnae nishaan'. That is my imprints will always be here

Великий Радж Капур! Его фильмы и образы созданные им на всегда в моей памяти! Какая команда была у него актеров композиторов и певцов! Всех их я знаю по имени и фамилии! Если перечислять их и фильмы которые он создал , уйдет немало времени! Только об одном я жалею! Фильм "МОЕ ИМЯ КЛОУН" к сожалению не многие поняли ,и этот фильм " провалился" в прокате! Это очень глубокий фильм , жаль людские массы не поняли его! Радж шел далеко вреред во времени! Пусть покоится он в раю ,пусть душа его будет спокойна! Он сделал много в мировом кинематографе!
