I'm not indian (I'm from Pakistan) but it feels so cool to have a video game based on indian mythology especially in action games dominated by Western Tropes and I may not speak Hindi but I can easily understand what they're saying in the game I'm excited to play this on my switch 🙌
Well we are all one the same people of same genetic ancestry nevermind the modern political border. So lets all play games together my South Asian Indian Sub Continental Brothers and Sisters
I played this on its original release and it was…. Rough. I’m glad to see developers, even small ones, go back in and polish a game and allow it to live up to its foundation potential.
After decades of christian mythology and greek, norse, etc, etc... it's so nice to see some other global mythologies serving as inspirations for games these days! I had never heard of this Raji before today and it's definitely going on my wish list, it looks incredible!
Hopefully we see more games come out of India. Most Indian developers do support work for major studios because it's guaranteed money, so there aren't many studios working their own original projects. Hopefully, like what is happening in China, we see more developers split off to start their own teams and work on original projects.
@@crazyyash3488 if it gets a US console release, I'll have to check it out. I'm very open to games from different cultures and settings, I love genuine diversity in gaming, I hate western baizou (SJW) diversity.
This game is turning out to be one of the greatest Switch experiences I've ever had, especially in portable mode. I was able to look past the demo but fortunately playing it got me into the concept and to see this optimization being done to this day shows dedication put to a game I've never seen before. Raji deserves every ounce of support it gets and I really hope whoever's reading this could give the demo just a couple minutes of their time.
i played the demo but couldnt get into it, even though i feel it is still a nice title. Felt like playing an older tyoe of game, maybe the gamecube prince of persia games or something. But idk, didnt grab me unfortunatelty
it needed to be polished as it was repetitive at launch. I'll give another go. Also helps give other versions life as a game goes off xbox game pass too. Edit: It is kinda false advertising. Campaign, story and one shot kill chosen in play option doesn't really help if you're looking for old resumed data, and doesn't really change the gameplay compared to multiplayer or minigames as you'll still spam dodge rolls. Also takes about 30 seconds to boot on the switch too, which I got better things to do, let alone I couldn't exit my saved game to title to find said modes, so I had to reboot and repeat that waiting.
@@phoenixwhiler943 yeah, though at least load times aren't too bad, but yes don't get this on switch when not on sale, I think currently $9. It's just tedious to be able to do rounds of angry birds or such (like timed challenges or even warch later with youtube ads) while booting it the first time like warborn, langrisser or airheart, which are even worse.
Been wanting to see more games, movies, comics, shows, etc. making content based off folklore, culture, and mythos that we don’t see too much of. So I am definitely getting this game if not now then sometime soon. Especially since it looks like it delivers both aesthetically and mechanically!
Copped this when it 1st dropped and it was great then! So glad to see it getting that lil extra something something, plus a physical release! Kudos to the devs for such a breath of fresh air! Fingers crossed that all this leads to a sequel!
I just started playing this morning and so far I like it. Anything that has to do with a sibling going the extra mile to do something is worth watching/playing to me
I already finished this game like a year ago but these changes look really nice. For those of you that haven't played it yet, you should definitely check it out.
I love this so much thanks to the developers for representing my culture in such an amazing way, and the support for the game makes me love it even more!
I might have to give this game a second chance. I tried it when it came out over a year ago but didn't stick with it because combat felt kinda sluggish and that was most of what the game had to offer. This looks much much better.
I was excited for the original version of this game, the art and story telling was charming, but I got stuck on one of the move tutorials and set it aside. I’m so happy to see this get polished, will definitely be double buying so I can try it again
This exciting. The combat in the game is really fluid for an isometric 3D action game. Reminds me of the combat style of Prince of Persia or God of War, but the game could have used some polish. It's cool to see the game get more support. I'm interested to see how the game looks after the update. I love the in game narrative parts of the game. Would love to see that utilized more. Read up on the dev, and it's sad they had to put up so much risk for the project. Hopefully the game will help them be more secure in the future.
Don’t forget Premium Edition Games has this amazing game up for preorder night now! Three versions are available with an art book and shadow puppets, among other awesome things.
This looks exciting! I hope that others see this and really pay attention cause this game has so much going on that makes it very interesting. I would love to dive into.
Well, now I need to pick up the game again for sure. A free update of this scale and a physical release, I'm glad to see this game given such attention
Whoa! So exciting to see this game get a glow up! I can't wait to try out the update! Originally I did think the game handled a little clunky, but I still had fun and it's a very beautiful game. My props to the dev!
What I would like to know is what about the people that got the game before this version came out do we just get an upgrade or do we have to buy the enhanced edition?
for anyone thinking only people of this culture will truly appreciate this game they are right. someone like myself could never get "it", but it doesn't mean that anyone cant still enjoy the game itself. I think the game is great. I won't get most of the references, but I still enjoy everything else. the bonus is for the people the people it was made in mind with. they can enjoy the bonus of the symbolism and story.
Had a good time with this one! Certain segments can be a bit too much and put you in tight spot. Overall a very good game. I wished they had enabled chapter select option.
Wow , this is a great surprised. The game already was a great experience with its own original story and game performance. Sort of a mix of a 2s tomb raider and other games but with its own original attack sets. Definitely loading this up again
Yay! I did think the game was lacking something but couldn’t put my finger on what because I was having a lot of fun! The ending wasn’t very satisfying but I don’t think they’ll be updating that now. A shame but I’m happy the game is getting a revival, definitely deserves it!
I really wanted to like the original, and its visuals are amazing (loved the shadow puppets), but with the awkward controls I didn’t see myself playing it again. But now I’m excited to give it another run through!
@@BJGvideos They kinda lacked any real impact, which made it hard for me to determine if my attacks were hitting in the middle of fights, if that makes sense
