I’m willing to line up and be one of those customers! I travel a lot for work and my colleagues only eat at hotels and franchises but I only eat at street vendors. Especially ones with long lines of eager and happy looking customers. It’s the only way to live when traveling.

They are not expert chefs working in 5 star restaurants they are just fedup with daily routine low pay poverty lifestyle dreaming of movies they see in cinema however unhygienic the food and untidy the work area is it's real value for money as they rarely hoodwink customers in food in india unlike western countries where what they show on the menu in kfc burger king mcd is different from what we get.
I have seen many workers who makes dosa like this in ahmedabad, Surat and Mumbai. They are habituated making like this as they makes hundreds or thousands of dosas per day. Loved their style of applying butter and making dosas.

M from New Mumbai nd i hv tasted this dosa many times i specially go to Dadar from my place jst to eat this dosa it's taste sooo good.. Price is worth it too,it's better to eat muttu's dosa then to eat dosa in expensive restaurant!!!
Icecreams and masala dosas have strong connections. Whenever i used to hog icecreams in the rainy seasons, sometimes i used to get bad cough and chest congestion. Then it used to be time for me to visit the doctor. The code word in South India for getting injections and beatings is called masala dosas. She would 100% gimme one or more painful injections on my bums. After getting i used to visit my aunt's place where she used to see me rubbing my bums and tease me that the doc gave me masala dosa on one bum and special rava masala dosa on the other bum😥😥😥she used to ask me if i want to eat more icecreams in rains again.
PIZZA AND BURGER CAME TO INDIA CAUSE OF ONGOING INVASIONARY INTENTIONS. ROTI AND DOSA NEVER LEFT INDIA CAUSE NOBODY HAD THOSE INTENTIONS. ANYWAY'S THERS A DIFFERNCE BETWEEN THE FOOD DAT ARE SPREAD BY ARM TWISTING COUTNRIES INTO SELLING EVEN WHEN NOBODY WANTS THEM IN THEIR MOUTHS AND THE FOODS WHERE PEOPLE FLOCKING FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD JUS TO EAT EM.
That's not true. I've had Dosas in Chennai Dosa (Sindelfingen, near Stuttgart) and in Frankfurt Saravana Bhavan near the main station in Germany. So much Indian food is available in Germany.
