I'm quite sure nobody underestimated him in his prime, he could dominate a game even without scoring. His prime was just too short.

@@teteskone41 it's becasue his team was bad, if you're a passer you can only benefit off of good scorers, once kg and pierce got dealt he had no one left, then he bumped all around the league. If he had a good team throughout the 10s he would be an all time great

If you consider him as the most underrated point guard in nba history, then he simply isn't.

If he had good players to play off of after kg and pierce left he wouldve remained in his prime, once he got traded to Dallas it would be a long time until he played with other superstars again
