Let me just say how glad I am to see a horror film based off a creepy pasta that ISN'T found footage style. I don't have anything against that style of film making it's just that it's so over used in the RU-vid community that it really makes me happy to see people who put in the effort to take it to the next level. Mary Ryan Kirsch is the rake a real creature because here in arozona we have something called a Skinwalker one time me and my girlfriend was driving down this road highway in arozona that ran the length of the State and we saw this woman walking down the highway by herself strange indeed when we drove up to her to see what was the matter we saw that she had no face period we got scared and push that pettle to the metal and got the F on she definitely wasn't human she had no face it was blank it was a skinwalker you take many forms sometimes the form of a dog man

OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG....HOW IS THIS NOT VIRAL????? This is hands-down, by far one of the most frightening videos I have ever had the great privilege to watch! I am a horror junkie so it took me a little while to get to this one but it's so worth the wait. I really don't understand how you guys aren't household names. Not only was the atmosphere creepy, but the acting was superb and so believable. The dialogue was realistic...even the well timed cursing was true to life and not superfluous like so much of the crud we slog through to find gems like this! The creature effects were so well done and it was especially cool to see old school and not CGI...not that I don't enjoy that as well but I feel it's overused and really often detracts from realism. Okay, now that you know how I really feel, lol...please tell me plans are in the works to make this into a full length feature! Oh, and Tanner...what a jerk!

Monster snuck up behind him while he was hugging her. The slow, limb motion of his hands means probably a spinal wound, the fact she didn't scream or move suggest she suffered a similar wound... so I would go with double neck penetration. That's 2 Bonuspoints for a doublekill, right?

This gives me an until dawn vibe, characters act the same, sound similar, taken part in the night in the woods, and there's a creature lurking in the bushes to hunt them down, the cinematography was absolutely stunning, everything was brought out clean, well done I enjoyed it.

I ALWAYS enjoy a good horror short, and this was really well done. Some of the acting was a little forced, I felt, just with some of the lines. It didn't sound natural in a couple places, but overall, I REALLY liked it. The visual for the rake was nice and creepy, and I found myself getting very into the visuals. :) Nice job! I would love to see more in the future!

The script was very pleasing to start. it was written in a way that sounds like normal language people might use. for the film it's self, I appreciate a rake film. I've been looking for a good one for a while and this is awesome! 9/10 which is the highest I've ever rated a short film. even my own short films come out as 6 at best. well done

***** I wish I could believe that, but there's two points to say that it didn't. 1) He doesn't really give a reaction. I'm sure if _you_ were stabbed in the back, you'd let everyone know with a scream. & 2) The blood is dripping from somewhere on his face, not his back.

At start the acting wasnt so bad but later on it got pretty bad, the scene where the monster grabbed the girl looks pretty shit i dont know why and they do unlogical things. But u have potential

The writing, scene composition, acting, sfx, music, everything was great on this! The monster scenes were scary and not reliant on shitty musical cue jumpscares. Far better than most of the other "horror short film" results I've watched.
