I like how when he do Galactica Phantom everyone else try to clash and counter him but Ralf just take it to the face and said "what a weak punch, eat this one!"
All these fistcuffs don't actually matter. Team Ikari was in Metal Slug and going up against extremely dangerous army. And demon gods by the end of the game, I think.
@@takezomiyamoto1390 I love Leona's character design and backstory, but in gameplay, she sucks ass. She's usually one of the bottom tiers. And now, even her design is kinda bad -- in the past, she had more muscles (but still retained her beauty).
I was telling friends back in the 90's that this move was the most powerful punch in fighting games for this reason. They said "nah, the Shin Shoryuken would beat it". Whatt?? 😂😂😂
ok too late to say this but the only plausible way in my head is if it armor broke (i only have the sf6 demo but i would assume it did) or if ryu just went over him (most plausible one)
@@SinKiske No you're good. Not too late at all. It doesn't armor break. EX Yuri has the Shin Shoryuken in KOF 98 (Dream Match 99 - Dreamcast version) and even the lvl 2 version doesn't armor break. Armor stops the 1st hit and Ralf continues forward to 1 hit KO Yuri. I tried it numerous times. Now your 2nd one is plausible as for it going over the Galactica Phantom but it's definitely not beating it if they both connect.
I have a vivid memory of how satisfying it is to hit this move on enemy in a arcade machine with my friends watching, it is so satisfying. good ol days.
I did love to see this two having a beer than said Waiter :Here your beer sir Ralf: thank you Karou: I heard that you are the man that fist power is beyond the god. Ralf: nah kids. This are just some mere rumors. Don't trust these "Karou shows his fist" Karou: how about? "Ralf smiles" Ralf: after finish the beer. Find an empty places to end this. One in one "Karou smiles" Karou: interesting These nights. Is a very interesting nights we saw both man are conversations to each other. It seems like today is the man truly one in one moment sitting each other drinking the beer later settled the business they had.
The first time I ever played KoF 97 I didn't lose against Orochi because I won with the Galactica Phantom. I did it when he starts to vacuum you towards him.
They Need to Bring Back the properties of Galactica Phantom in the New KOF if not the Damage that should be high if its a Lvl3 Super but mostly being Charged fully to become unblockable it still can be dodged but it becomes a mind game option for some cool interactions.
KoF have many refence on movies and manga. Galactica Phantom is reference to Jun Kenzaki signature move. He is main character of manga called "Ring ni Kakero" (it's about a box with crazy fights). Galactica Phantom was referenced in other media also.
@@wadeclarkson6464 this manga just catch my attention when I tried to firuge out what source material was for a SNES game with the same name. Sad, that finding whole manga on interternet is very hard, only few chapters was translated
To me, THE Galactica Phantom was never meant to One-Hit KO opponents, they are just meant to deal more pain than a regular power punch, but not to the extent of beating them in one hit.
parabéns pelo vídeo ficou muito bom arrasou adoro the King of fithers é um dos melhores jogos de lutas que eu já vi adoro esse personagem do the King of fithers que é o Ralf ele é muito bom e forte
very small detail but the counter hit wall bounce sound effect in KOF XI is one of the most satisfying sound effects imo, you can just FEEL their bodies bouncing hard fronm the wall
Tá de brincadeira, se pega e lona , e como fica incrível o efeito é a jogabilidade desse personagem no jogo faz ser tão interessante e desafiador. Tudo ou nada , se tive coragem pode tenta segura!
Games are now very competitive with tons of tournaments worldwide. They have to balance everything. There’s no longer place for a move that takes your entire life with one punch. Those days are over in competitive fighting games.
@@RevengerPhoenix The thing about 1-hit KO moves is that most of them are extremely slow, predictable, and aren't viable in competitive play. So it's more like you will never see those used in high level matches because no one can land those hits.
@@passing2010 they’re still getting rid of them. Like the IKs in guilty gear, they’re gone in strive. Not saying you’re wrong that those moves are impractical in high level, but you just see them less and less in newer games.
