Ahh the old Independance day magic parachute. No possible way for a super advanced race who can cross distances between stars to figure out pull up or remember to look at all those advanced instruments to avoid hitting something. Alien ship with two very pointy whatevers at the front have no chance in hell of ripping that magic material. Script writers are awesome!

5:25 I get like that a lot. I'll get all ready to take off and start flying somewhere, autopilot or me looking at the F10 map kills me. Or I finally get where I'm going and enemies just keep spawning in the air every time I kill them. Or ground targets take NO damage from Mavericks. I can't be fucked to do it all again and wait all that time so I just stop playing.

Not sure if it works on the MP servers, but it turns out if you call the airfield and request landing using the comms menu, they will usually turn the lights on for you

I actually landed in the dark with the su25 one time. it's not that difficult. What you do is you just put on autopilot until you're on final and then use the glideslope. I did that as the noob that I am
