Wild to see how calm Colin McRae is in the car. A lot of drivers from this time have a look of intense concentration or even pain on their faces during these tough stages (which is totally understandable) but Colin just has this kind of half asleep totally calm Sunday drive look to him even when going sideways over rocks and bumps through incredibly narrow dirt roads at 70mph. He’s just totally cool, collected, and in the zone.
That big fire cause by a barbecue and that water tanker crash...I've seen pictures of these incident in a rally magazine but I've never seen a footage of that incident until now.. daaaamn.
@@poundfoolish8691 world rally car era, the regulation change in 1997 removed the need for homologation specials so manufacturers could just put 4wd and aero on regular cars instead of having to make a pre set number of cars on which the rally car will be based and with minimal deviation from the original road going design (the homologation special) Thats why group A cars look a bit tamer and why Toyota went ftom rallyimg in a celica gt four to a corolla hatchback
