● Event Summary:
Sébastien Ogier has claimed the fourth consecutive victory in the Rallye Montecarlo event, seeing off closest rivals Jari-Matti Latvala and Ott Tänak.
The frenchman opened the WRC with a 2min 15.0sec victory on the four-day classic on snow and ice-covered roads.
Jari-Matti Latvala finished second in a Toyota Yaris, while Ott Tänak slipped to third after having engine issues.
Thierry Neuville won the final Power Stage.
