Term limits would require opening a Constitutional Convention. Opening up a Constitutional Convention would be a nightmare. Why should the small minds of todays congressional representatives be able to advance beyond a document created by such profound minds as those of our Founders?
Bit, John Kennedy is an example of someone who should not be eliminated by term limits. Voters must learn enough about candidates to discriminate good from bad. Stop voting party lines!
As a constituent of Nadler’s… thank you for confronting him. Our city and my neighborhood is NOT getting better. It’s horrifying. Both mental illness AND crime are horrendous in my neighborhood and, if anything, appear to be getting worse. On a more personal note, I reached out to Representative Nadler’s office for help years ago with a VERY major problem. His staff were incredibly rude and all but told me to F off. Ironically enough it was during one of Trumps impeachment. So I had to sit at home and watch him prance around in the national sport while his office told me they were too busy to help me as one of their constituents. I have looked forward to voting against him and encouraging others to as well in every election since. I long for the day when my neighbors wake up for their sleep walking and start voting in better political leaders.
Jerry Nadler was seen on TV with a microphone in his face that the elected officials were smarter than the American people that we did not have enough sense to vote what was in THEIR beat interest that only they knew what we needed
@@th5811 I get a kick out of you people just acting like we can just pick up and leave our homes , children , grand children life long friends and other family because of ahole politics. We picked up as many red seats in our state congress as Florida where everyone likes to run.
@@johnpoole8321 Glad you're getting your kicks. Some people make moves, even very inconvenient moves, to benefit their families. I know if I had kids in New York or especially NYC school systems, I'd definitely be getting out. Some prioritize their children's well-being and futures above being close to "lifelong friends." You do you though. Just don't complain about it when people recommend moving away from a State government that hates you and actively works to destroy you and your family.
Why is nadler allowed to be on any committee at all. He has shown he is not intelligent enough to understand the rules and bylaws? He like most Democrats are not intelligent enough to understand simple laws. They prove this everyday
you assume idiocy. I stopped accepting that as a viable excuse long ago. This is undiluted malice and disdain. They drank their own koolaid in regards to all the things they claim about their political rivals and paint them as evil, but they are the ones that are committing the immoral, degenerate, honorless, self-serving actions. To them there is no objective truth, just "their" truth. And their truth is whatever will gain them more power.
Nadler is nothing more than a puppet for a really rich Liberal that lives in Nadler's district. Nadler's not a man, he's more like a professional prostitute.
I honestly hope they cease to exist soon. Useless. They don't control anything the people controlling don't use congress they commit all their crimes without any thing in their way. So these are just same old same old talk about it nothing changes
what about outright lying under oath in THIS investigation? how the fuck are these criminals and liars not being arrested? they are trying to string trump up on made up charges yet these clowns lie over and over again an NOTHING HAPPENS
I am a former cop. I would love to see a social worker de-escalate someone like Neely, who had a rap sheet 42 arrests long and several violent attacks on innocent people
@@paulao7022 Do you think every cop out there has a negotiator in their back pocket? Call for one, wait 30 or so minutes until they arrive and in the meantime deal with the problem that is going to fall apart in 1 or 2 minutes because the crazy person is not going to calm down, not listen to reason, and not wait for the trained mental health professional to show up before exploding. When seconds count the negotiator is 30 minutes away.
@@paulao7022 and its better than yours. Tell me how many violent nut jobs you have dealt with in the course of your employment. How many violent out of control people you have had to deal with. Tell me your experiences and qualifications. Bless us all with your armchair knowledge.
I don't think the GOP knows what to do with those who are committing perjury under oath... Those one's need to be heavily fined and put in jail for at least six months. All of it must be served. The GOP, needs to turn over these evil people, over to military tribunal's..?
I don’t understand what everyone is confused about. Fire them, Prosecute them, jail them. They would do the same to us if we committed these crimes, got on the stand, lied about it and spit in the face of America
The reason they are not punished is something called the Speech and Debate Clause of the Constitution. Originally designed to immunize members of Congress against lawsuits over things said in debate, it has now been stretched to make our Congress-Critters unaccountable for almost anything they say, anywhere they say it. Their speech has no consequences.
Qualified Immunity rules should be tightened. If an officer does not know the basic amendments of the constitution, and they arrest someone for exercising them, the officer should not have the qualified immunity defense to hide behind.
If they were honest they would stop focusing on New York. They only focus on that city because of their Alvin bragg fetish at the moment. It’s sad how all of the republican run cities with high crime rates currently are being ignored.
Using the subway scenario as an example of mental health is stupid. Firstly the guy threatened violence. A mental health worker shouldnt handle that meanwhile cops are trained to deal with mental issues. The reason we can’t use robots or cameras as cops is because of human empathy and awareness.
You mean the repubes trying to defund the FBI and ATF while chirping about backing the blue and screaming about democrats supposedly wanting to defund the police? You mean that shit?
I find it fascinating that Forbes is actually reporting lately. They aren't coloring their reports so blatantly progist as of late. I might actually start considering them apart from the State Media now.
As a person who rides the subways and sees random drugged out/drunk mentally ill homeless people wandering subway cars continuously… I’ve never once seen a single “mental health” person take that person off the train…
@@rolandsmith4394 Add New Jersey, I was born and raised in Brooklyn NY but never got the Democrat infection. Now I live in New Jersey and the politics is almost identical to New York.
@@jeffb5785 💯I spent three weeks in Newark in the summer. But when we start, we have to add Maryland, DC, Philly, Detroit ... Good luck, man. Good luck.
@@rolandsmith4394 I live in a very RED section in the Jersey Shore area but the commy Governor makes us insane, and yes, DC, Philly, and Baltimore are cesspools.
So, Matt Gaetz has a pending bill to eliminate (defund) the ATF. MTG has supported defunding the FBI. I guess they should never be allowed to call 911 then?
So when someone is getting aggressive and violent on a train, you would call a mental health professional to board the train and intervene? How does that work?
Ms nadler had a switcheroo. His brain cells went to his lower bowels and the aforementioned brain 🧠 cells were replaced by the excrement in his lower digestive tract and migrated to his skull 💀. Does the term "shit for brain's" come to mind?
@@harrypaulschlocker9849 Excellent explanation. To add to your theory, Confucious says...never hold your farts in. They travel up your spine into your brain and that's where shitty ideas come from.
Hanging my the neck until death or put before firing squad was the punishment for treason when I was in service. And that's exactly what needs to be done.
The government, screws up a wet dream... No centralizing our police... they will be weaponized against the right, big time. Just like they weaponized the FBI against us!
Whenever a mental health professional needs to contact somebody outside of a facility, the first thing they do is stop at the police station house and get a police escort to make contact.
NY should test his theory...next time there's a 911 call for domestic violence at a home....send a social worker trained in psychology instead of a police officer.
@@brianstansfield4367 ATF has become just another 3 letter failure . Everything they “ enforce “ , is easily controlled by another “federal entity “ .ATF - Ruby Ridge , Waco(Branch Davidians ) , Damn fine job .🤮
@@brianstansfield4367 let Jerry fend for himself, defund all security for the house and Senate. Let's find out about their defunding police after a couple weeks on their own
@@MrMcgooOG Funny how you talk of Nadler wanting to defund the police, when that is exactly what your repube reps want to do. Reference the child molester Matt Gaetz and his bill to defund the ATF.
I did not vote for him. The way the ballots are set up now, is voting R: Republican on all candidates, same with D: Democrat. The voting: Old school, in person with valid I.D., ballots clearly shows all candidates, is the only way for free/fair elections. Then Accountability after they're in office.
Two things can be true at once. Crime is too high, habitual criminals arent kept locked up AND qualified immunity is an atrocious doctrine (not legislation) that presumes any lawsuit against a government agent is frivolous and does not merit a jury trial.
Keep Qualified immunity but an officer who violates the department's policy loses their qualified immunity. Without qualified immunity officers would get sued personally when they were following department policy. In which case the department should be sued not the officer.
@Dax Eckenberg well said and absolutely true. I couldn't have said it any better.. but it was exactly what I was thinking. And continuously defunding these police departments will equal out to worse police interactions. We need to continue the funding and make it to where they have proper training on the constitution and for de-escalation tactics. Not all laws are enforceable, nor should be. We have many laws that are unconstitutional.. which means they are null 'n' void and carry no weight.
@@daxeckenberg I would add one more thing: Subject department policies to an annual external audit. Any policy that is deemed corrupt or inappropriate would be nullified and require a rewrite within 2 months.
Great thought, but how? Congress only has the power to refer to the DOJ, not arrest or charge. Don’t get me wrong, I fully agree with you, but things are beyond repair.
In my hometown people knew to call my dad, a Presbyterian minister and other ministers when there was a problem. The police would be called also if violence was involved but my dad cd often calm down the person. But in those days there was more respect for the church and the clergy. Dad was always out in the community. We need more of that now.
These are dangerous times. People are taking illegal drugs and sometimes prescription drugs that are messing with their stability. Sending clergy or social workers out to critical and dangerous situations is NOT SAFE. The counselling and psychiatric assistance should be pre-emptive...But how many truly mentally ill people believe that they're ill? It's a MESS in this country.
That's not brutal, that is normal and should be expected conversation. End chevron deference, end qualified and absolute immunity, defund all three letter outfits to the point where they are humbled to work for the people in line with an unbastardized constitution and bill of rights.
This Country would be so incredibly better off..Chevron, when in the control of the Democrats,is a total death toll on our Constitutional Republic..I agree absolutely, with every one of your suggestions..YOU are who we Americans need representing our best political interest,in OUR Country..These Progressive Marxists are a CANCER on our society..
Message to Nadler; The mental situation in New York did not improve to any degree by defunding the police. You only have to look at the poor mental saps roaming streets and the underground.
You subdue and apprehend the criminal. Then you charge them (while they're in jail), then you book them (while they're in jail), then you arraign them (while they're in jail), then you try them (may or may not be in jail). Then you sentence them. The guilty to to prison. Does that not sound like a reasonable solution?
Any if these folks that have wanted to defend police or have mental health folks Instead of police.... should be forced to Immediately give up ALL of their personal security people❗
They are all just a bunch of blithering idiots that don't even believe what comes out of their own mouths. They wouldn't know what to do if they didn't have somebody to wipe their butts for them, much less dial a phone.
The police, need to make more money.. not less. I wouldn't put my life on the line everyday.. for small wages. Body guards, make more than the average, police officer! The lawless dem's, spent that billion dollars for something else.. shocking!
So, if somebody is running around brandishing knife, gun, baseball bat or hatchet, we have to wait for mental health professional to come around at two AM to the train station twenty five minutes away? Would it work for you?
I'd rather hire my own Crack addict with a baseball bat for personal security than call somebody that's going to show up with a pair of plastic handcuffs and an iq test.
These people haven’t been in public like that since they were 40, 60 years ago. Most of them have no clue what life for the average American is like… they barely understand how an iPad works.
@@The.Nasty.what are you talking about... Wow. Okay, you clearly have no idea what you are talking about. Right now, the only model I know of with some success is Boston's Emergency response team called BEST. Social worker and medical transport team arrive together. Officer meets them at address. BEST team takes the lead if no laws are actively being broken. If required, the person is transferred to the ER with social worker and paramedic.
Yeah something else for working class to pay for, if you could find one that would be willing to ride subway, they would need armed security, something else for the tax payers to pay for!!! Do any of the Democrats have any idea where the money comes from to pay for their ridiculous ideas!
And on the issues of deporting illegals I believe that the loophole of an illegal coming across giving birth and that baby automatically becoming a naturalized citizen should be closed. This would help detour quite a few people willing to come in illegally.

When ? How about 1957 when the American Comunist Party joined the Democrat Party. Settled on the name Liberals. This was to get more communists into Govt positions . Probably before that. Look what they did to Kennedy in the 60s.
When they start banning books. Policing teachers language in schools. Passing laws that ban people from living their lives as they see fit. Passing laws that ban a woman's bodily autonomy. That's tyrannical zippy.
I don't really think, the GOP knows what do do... with all this evil, going on in our congress..?? They start by putting them in jail. They got enough evidence.. when will enough evidence... be enough..??
@3:25 Wait I'm confused, is Mr. Penny a mental heath professional or a bystander who happened to be a trained marine?(rhetorical) From the video I saw no mental heath professional was there to diffuse the situate not that it would have worked given the lengthy criminal history Mr. Neely had, nor did a police office show up to the situation. So again I ask how is this billion dollar red tape investment helping to improve any mental heath situation currently affecting the US.
"Mental health professionals" can't do anything in those situations either. I know, I work with the Salvation Army in my area, and see their (the professionals) failures everyday
