The only reason to choose 32gb over 16gb not for performance boost but to avoid using hdd swap and this by increasing the life span of SSD . As in mac the SSD is intergated so u can't change the SSD alone .so choose 32gb to increase the life span of ur mac .even after choosing 32gb there will some swap on SSD but it will be less when compared to 16gb.
There is a term called Dual channel memory. This is totally based on Motherboard . Adding 4 rams in 4 slots doesn't change anything. But proper use of dual channel memory 1/3 or 2/4 . We can get proper higher performance
We need extra RAM mainly for multitasking. Some people might want to continue working while a video is rendering in the background. *Provided you have a powerful enough processor.
Bro you should have added one more comparison, PC 1 : low spec with 128/64 GB RAM. PC 2 : High spec with 8/16 GB RAM. this could have given us an interesting result.

6:10 bro. I have a doubt. Did you changed the memory usage settings in premiere.? It might be the reason it's doesn't take the additional memory usage?? Edit: usually adobe products have an opt. The users can assign/lock the memory usage to prevent PC from stall or hang by taking over use of memory.

I brought it to Germany for masters and now using it as my work computer for an architecture interior design studio. When we built the pc it was 8gb ram, I added one more 8gb and now I have 16gb ram. In the office I have to use multiple software's simultaneously like 1_3dsMax(3d modeling)_V-ray(Rendering) 2_Photoshop to postprocess those rendering, 3_at the same time I keep Sketchup(3d modeling) also open, 4_Autocad(2d Drawings) 5_Since I simultaneously put everything I produced in Photoshop and other tools into a Presentation for the customer in InDesign, that program will also be open. The computer works flawless switching between these software's, never had issues. But I cannot work faster when 3Dsmax_Vray is rendering, it slows down the PC that stops me from using any other software. Is there a way I can boost the performance while I am rendering? It would be nice to use the PC for some 2D software's like AutoCAD or presentation software's like photoshop or InDesign while the rendering is going on in the background. Any computing device needs RAM! But let's say I have a PC/Mobile with 4GB of RAM and it gives 'X' performance. Assuming I increase the RAM to 8GB and I get 2X of performance (theoretically). So if I have 6GB of RAM, I would expect 1.5X of original performance, but it will be far lesser than that. So mobile companies increasing the RAM to these numbers like 6,12 n all is just a stunt (uruttu) to charge more money. It is ideal to have memory in the powers of 2. There is a lot of reasons behind that as well (The above hypothesis of RAM upgrade is based on the assumption that other parts like processor is required to have more RAM, so increasing from 4 to 8GB does have an impact.) I don't know whether it's right or wrong but I think more the RAM more the multi tasking. For example if I am using 10 Chrome tabs and some other and rendering a video, and having a 8gb RAM, it cannot run all the apps smoothly since both Chrome and rendering will take more of the RAM. In this place the extra RAM will help. It does not increase the performance of each app but provide temporary storage for each app to run smoothly. If I am wrong, explain it, I want to understand.

ram speed is not depends on how any GB, but need to see how many mhz, and the motherboard should support the speed. GB in ram just a temporary storage from hard disk to be exectute faster to the processer to proess the data. in order for processor to get data from RAM, transfer speed plays here, not the size of the memory.
